OK from the wiki:Can you remind me what they are?
Yeah but it's lame that they're doing it with the polytheistic culture instead of the monotheistic one.
I think they are exploring what god hood is for both, and we just don't realize it yet. It's all tied together.

Bingo!
LOL In some sense this doesn't matter, if one of your parents was a human, you're human. The end.
Lol, you are correct.

I am going to be deeply annoyed if he not able to kill the IQ in a DLC that centers around him. I NEED something like that to happen between a romanced Solas and his vhenan. I really hope that all this information is...wrong, sorry! PW said that Solas is meant to be a character who is gray when it comes to his morals, so if all of these deaths are due to Solas then...he is more of a villain.
Oh God, no I do not want to think Morrigan as an Elf-blooded human. She got with a romanced Alistair in my canon and had the OGB...so that would make Kerian...no...just no. Who knows...maybe Flemeth was asexual, lol!
That would make Kieran what? Too Elfy?
Based on what Morrigan's said about her mother, I'm quite sure Flemeth was not asexual.
In any case, it's just idle curiosity. I was thinking about Morrigan's lineage due to all the discussion about Flemeth etc ... I find it really interesting that it's kind of a non issue that Flemeth is Human but can be possessed of the spirit of an Elven god. Humans and Elves aren't that far apart, it would seem. It's fine with me if Morrigan's father remains simply, healthy looking anonymous donor
It does refresh my interest in the shared history of those two races in Thedas though.
I don't think we know enough about Solas yet to make assumptions about his moral character or his motives. Like Cullen, he is a gray character.
I think every major character in DA:I is a gray character. Vivienne, Sera, Leliana, Iron Bull, Dorian, etc.

Lol, it would just bring me back nightmares of my warden's LI sleeping with her friend...*shudders* I still loath that decision. Yeah...Flemeth had no qualms about taking Chasind men into her bed and keeping them there until they are spent...then she kills them...sounds familiar?

Being a "gray" character hardly prevents one from killing. And on top of that, Solas is still responsible for this whole mess anyways, no matter how you slice it.

I wondered that one as well.
Thank you! I'd been trying to decide if I wanted to run one with Sumalee's voice, and while I feel the tone doesn't hit quite right sometimes, other times her voice is perfect for the lines (AWR's voice doesn't always hit the more aggressive lines for me.)
You chose some responses I haven't heard yet. I like the cocky (rogue) attitude of some of them, and his response about her adventures, talk about delivery the way his voice drops almost to a whisper... Her eyes are really lovely, by the way.
Thanks! I can record the other scenes as I get them if you'd like. I can also go back and record the other cutscenes.
I started an elf last night that also uses this voice. I can appreciate the use of both voices, but the "standard" one just doesn't hit for me with the more aggressive characters.

I'm not saying that gray characters do not kill, but after awhile all those deaths and bad situations stack up and turn the gray character into more of a villain. Is he? He did not know what Cory would do, from what we know he most likely just woke up from thousand year sleep and was tricked into giving his orb to Cory. We know that Solas gave his orb, but what did Cory say...what did he do to twist Solas? I know if I woke up from a 1000 year sleep I would be confused as hell, lol.

Thank you for posting this
I'm really enjoying therealmcgee's paintings. Is this the same artist that painted the really nice red lyrium Cullen? Not the one with the massive claw arm, but the one where he's standing, has some red crystals coming out of his breastplate and mane and is doing his subtle half smile? I didn't see it on the tumblr, but it seemed a similar style to me.

So there's that! That doesn't mean he's not doing it for "good" reasons. Same with Felassan, I suppose. I'll have to go re-read that scene again.
The road to hell and all that jazz.
I think it very worthy to note that when he means the "Elven people" it ain't the Dalish or city elves, since when you ask him in game, he said that he considers neither of those groups to be his people. So that means that he wants to restore the ancient elves...which scares me. A lot.
TBH, I still can't help but view it more epically romantic than that. That there are good elvhen locked away somewhere for some misunderstood, not-nefarious reason. And he wants to restore them. Call me sentimental, but I still think he's a good guy. At heart. I just want to know what his reasons are.The road to hell and all that jazz.

Oooh, this gives me shivers as it reminds me of Gerald Tarrant from the Coldfire Trilogy. How he killed his wife for a similar reason. :goosebumps: and it's sick, but I still love him..I wonder; what would happen if he'd kill his own lover to get his way, since I do think he would regret killing her in response to her defending Thedas. I bet he would use her blood in a ritual like that elf whom killed his wife in front of Hawke for his ritual.

[[and, disclaimer, no, I haven't gotten to the end of my Solasmance yet. LOL I suppose my opinion may change.]]
Prepare for your feels to get stomped on, darlin.

You mean Solas? Well, he's not a blood mage.
Yeah it would be sick if they went that route with our Lallvan.Oooh, this gives me shivers as it reminds me of Gerald Tarrant from the Coldfire Trilogy. How he killed his wife for a similar reason. :goosebumps: and it's sick, but I still love him..
