He said to my Elf that he would be willing to teach her blood magic. So he would have to know how to do it to teach her.You mean Solas? Well, he's not a blood mage.

Oooh, this gives me shivers as it reminds me of Gerald Tarrant from the Coldfire Trilogy. How he killed his wife for a similar reason. :goosebumps: and it's sick, but I still love him..

I wonder; what would happen if he'd kill his own lover to get his way, since I do think he would regret killing her in response to her defending Thedas. I bet he would use her blood in a ritual like that elf whom killed his wife in front of Hawke for his ritual.
Solas doesn't know bloodmagic though and I don't think he would ever do a ritual that involved blood since as he said it makes it harder for one to access the Fade. Although I do love the idea of him regretting that he killed his lover, but still had to.

He would be willing to teach her if he knew blood magic. He says that he does not know blood magic since it makes it harder for one to access the Fade.

Hmm interesting. He certainly did not say that to mine...at least I don't believe so. I know my elf said that she would be interested in learning more about it...

He said to my Elf that he would be willing to teach her blood magic. So he would have to know how to do it to teach her.
That is SO strange ... I remember having the conversation about how he doesn't believe blood magic is inherently evil, but during Cole's personal quest he tells him outright that he doesn't practice blood magic. So deceitful Solas.
Honestly, I look forward to the drama even though I want to believe he's really good and won't screw things up even more while he's trying to fix them.

Ah m'kay. Perhaps he has different lines based on your views? I think I might just ask PW if Solas knows blood magic, because there seems to be some discrepancies when it comes to different dialogue options.
Honey, you get to bang a god. Let me have my fun lol.
That may or may not be true...we were left to believe that it may or may not had happened, lol!

I think that is what I may be remembering, regardless I am tweeting PW.
I hope the Solavellan romance can end in three ways:happiness, heartache, or death.

When does he say that?
If I remember correctly, it's during the Mythal Temple quest, when you talk to Morrigan about old Elven lore.

I'm glad to hear that the lower American voice can work with an elf. I'm not sure when I'll get around to my female Dalish, but I really wanted to use the other voice -- I need to disassociate her from my canon, British-voiced Trevelyan as much as possible, or else I'll never be able to resist Cullen's charms! (She'll be a "feral" elf as well.)
Oh, Cullen will tame this "feral" girl as well. I've already decided that he's my canon romance and if I don't want to romance him I have to roll a Qunari.
My thoughts on not using the standard voice is that she's tough, she's a spy, and she was trained to mask her accent.
I use the "stock" voice if I want to play a straight n' narrow, noble or "white knight" type character. If I want to play the opposite character type, I use the "alternate" voice.
I wonder if there are any vids out there with an elf that uses the American accent. Maybe I will be the first to capture it!

Hmm, I don't recall that. I *do* recall DG saying exactly that. So that would be an interesting coincidence...If I remember correctly, it's during the Mythal Temple quest, when you talk to Morrigan about old Elven lore.

I still think people are at this point inventing things about Solas, including his intentions, motivations, morals, and so on. We don't truly know what happened between Solas and Flemeth. We don't know if it was consensual; she certainly did not seem to struggle. Perhaps she was caught by surprise? Perhaps she agreed to this? (The little write-up seems to suggest she agreed to it b/c she felt it was inevitable.)
I just hate to see his character being tarred and feathered like this when we know NOTHING about him and when we had people doing the same to Cullen for however many years, and it was just frustrating trying to defend him. People constantly telling us "Cullen isn't perfect; he did such-and-such" and we're all, "WE KNOW, THAT'S WHY HE'S SUCH A GREAT CHARACTER!"
Same with Fenris; I am/was constantly defending him. So frustrating.

Huh? So he was once not Fen'Harel?
Yep. That's my theory.
He could have been a regular elven mage, a Keeper.
And then, Fen'Harel found him.
