Yeah I would ask Patrick Weaks for this view because a lot of elf veiws were in favor of Blood magic and that she saw it as a tool to use.Ah m'kay. Perhaps he has different lines based on your views? I think I might just ask PW if Solas knows blood magic, because there seems to be some discrepancies when it comes to different dialogue options.

Thanks! I can record the other scenes as I get them if you'd like. I can also go back and record the other cutscenes.
I started an elf last night that also uses this voice. I can appreciate the use of both voices, but the "standard" one just doesn't hit for me with the more aggressive characters.
I gave AWR's voice to my dwarven rogue because it fits her better, but Sumalee's to Zhenya because I agree hers fits the more aggressive ones. I wouldn't mind hearing the other scenes if it isn't too much hassle, though, since I'm not sure if or when I'll give Sumalee's voice to a Cullen-mancing IQ.

I still think people are at this point inventing things about Solas, including his intentions, motivations, morals, and so on. We don't truly know what happened between Solas and Flemeth. We don't know if it was consensual; she certainly did not seem to struggle. Perhaps she was caught by surprise? Perhaps she agreed to this? (The little write-up seems to suggest she agreed to it b/c she felt it was inevitable.)
I hate to think it but I honestly believe it was not Mythal who died there but Fan'Harel. At the moment just before the deed, something happened, a shimmery green mist washed over Solas face. I think that was a soul swap. She was pretty calm and I am pretty sure she knew what Solas had planned, she just had something planned as well.

Yeah he told me he would be glad to teach her ect and nothing about the fade ect But I had a good amount of liberal views on the subject too.
That's odd because my dalish mage also choose the most liberal responses on the subject and still got the "blood magic and the fade don't go together" response. I wonder if you got that response in a later conversation than the one I'm thinking about.

LOL They already do for the unhappy ending. I wonder if they'll Cullenize the Solas romance now that it's so popular. LOL

Ok, hopefully someone can clear this up for me because I am completely confused and it’s bugging the crap out of me.
At some point during the game (while in a romance with Cullen) Cullen says: “I find myself wondering what will happen after. I would not want to move on but not from you."
The bold section confuses me. I am not the best in grammar and sometimes it’s hard for me to understand it. I do not understand what he is saying and to me that sounds like a double negative.
Can someone please explain as to what Cullen is saying here?
Next is:
At Haven Cullen spaces out at the War Table. I DID use all the flirt options prior to this.
Is he spacing out because he is thinking of The Inquisitor or is he spacing out do to withdrawals?
Thanks a bunch!

Both my mages were open to the blood magic thing and he told both of them he'd be willing to teach them, but he doesn't really know much about actually doing blood magic because using it makes exploring the fade difficult. All of that was in the conversation where he said that blood magic wasn't inherently evil and it was just superstition which caused there to be all the rules against it.

The first one is a line from the sexytime desk scene. What he actually says is "I won't want to move on...not from you." (At least, that is how it sounds to me.) Then you basically tell him, you won't have to, we'll stay together.
The second one, I don't know - I have a feeling war table banter is fairly random, and it may have been hit by the banter bugs as well.

I just hate to see his character being tarred and feathered like this when we know NOTHING about him and when we had people doing the same to Cullen for however many years, and it was just frustrating trying to defend him. People constantly telling us "Cullen isn't perfect; he did such-and-such" and we're all, "WE KNOW, THAT'S WHY HE'S SUCH A GREAT CHARACTER!"
Same with Fenris; I am/was constantly defending him. So frustrating.
I think there's a lot of speculation going on, which is natural in this situation, but I get the impression most people like him. Though I've mostly heard things in this thread. I'm really fascinated with his character, enough to try his romance even though I know what happens (and I normally hate that sort of thing).

There's no but in the sentence. It's "I find myself wondering what will happen after. I would not want to move on, not from you." It's in the scene where you confirm the relationship and you get the desk action. He's just saying he wants his future after all the Cory stuff is over to include her.

He say he would not want to move on, not from you. Meaning basically he doesn't want what they have to end.
Him spacing out at the table I just assume that's the effect of not taking the lyrium.

Oh and bout him spacing out at the war table, I'm pretty sure it's left up to us to decide what he's spacing out about. Though it did happen on my Solas character too, so that's probably a point for Lyrium/having other things on his mind.

Hmm, I don't recall that. I *do* recall DG saying exactly that. So that would be an interesting coincidence...
I've just watched a Mythal Temple scene again to find his line and the dialog isn't there.
But I do remember Solas talking about Elven deities and dragons not being related. It's somewhere in the game. Perhaps in a dialog with the Inq.?

Before that he talks about The Inquisition. So what he does want to move away from the Inquisition when the war is over but not from your character? Ugh. This is so damn confusing.

@PatrickWeekes Hi there! I was wondering if you could confirm if Solas is or is not a bloodmage? There seems to be some conflicting dialogue

@ZarroAmell Solas does not do blood magic. In main hub, he states outright that use of blood magic makes entering the Fade more difficult.

LOL don't worry, it is a bit confusing.
Basically he is telling the inquisitor he wants their relationship to be permanent. He doesn't want to move away from anything, he's just saying he doesn't want anything to change, after the war that is.

Speaking of that muscular image of Solas...
When you flirt with him as a warrior when he comments on the path you've taken, you basically get to ask him if he likes your muscles, and he admits it "Since you ask, yes." ![]()
I like there are some class specific changes to dialogues.
