Ok, that just leads me puzzled again-LOL-sorry.

Before that he talks about The Inquisition. So what he does want to move away from the Inquisition when the war is over but not from your character? Ugh. This is so damn confusing.

No, lol. What he's basically saying is that he wants a serious relationship with the Inquisitor. He wants to be with the her in a long term serious relationship and make his life with her, which means being by her side regardless of whether it's within the Inquisition or wherever else their lives may take them.

Even if you don't romance him he chooses to stay with the Inquisition, he has no intention of leaving it or the Inquisitor.

XD It's alright. It throws out anything to do with Solas killing his lover for her blood...so now we can ponder on other reasons why he would off her, lol!

HOW COULD U R2???HOW COULD YOU???? LOL that perfect body is meant only for Cullen :P

altho i must admit... it doesn't look too bad on solas

LOL Sorry! The point is that... overromanticized, overmuscled Old-Spice-Guy on a horse is a bit... silly. Even for Cullen. Especially for Solas. LOL Which is why I'm still chortling.

Why? It would make sense since you him see him a having that werid look and the eyes look different in the ending!

Alistair on a horse?

Yes, no? Is it asking too much?  :P

It is not.  In fact, I believe it is vital to the scientific method that we see such an image immediately.

Pants are, as always, optional.

For myself, because I believe the description from in game of what's happening. That's she intends to give him her power. Anyhoo, that's my $0.02.

Ok, hopefully someone can clear this up for me because I am completely confused and it’s bugging the crap out of me.

At some point during the game (while in a romance with Cullen) Cullen says: “I find myself wondering what will happen after. I would not want to move on but not from you."

The bold section confuses me. I am not the best in grammar and sometimes it’s hard for me to understand it. I do not understand what he is saying and to me that sounds like a double negative.

Can someone please explain as to what Cullen is saying here?

Next is:

At Haven Cullen spaces out at the War Table. I DID use all the flirt options prior to this.

Is he spacing out because he is thinking of The Inquisitor or is he spacing out do to withdrawals?

Thanks a bunch!

I heard:

I wouldn't want to move on - not from you...

But I can go back and replay it.

Re Cullen's spacing out - I head canon that it's because he's thinking about the IQ. However, I have heard others say that Cullen will do this with any gender/race.

I take it to mean that as the relationship grew more serious, he started to wonder would what happen after the Inquisition is no longer needed. He's not sure if the IQ's future plans include him. He knows the Inquisition will eventually come to an end and he doesn't want to move on, not if it means moving on from her. This is where she can confirm her feelings for him and that she has no intentions on moving on from him when all is said and done either.

In a nutshell, they are committing to staying together into the future.

Which is why the ending with both of them being all "idk what comes next" particularly annoyed me. Like if they had made it "idk what comes next, but I look forward to finding out with you" or something it would have been fine. But the way it was done was just really annoying to me. It was like that previous talk hadn't happened or something -_-

I know what'll happen next...copious amounts of babies!

I'm seriously putting money that the Inquisition will grow into a superpower. It'll swallow up Thedas like a plague. You need a group that large to go against, oh I don't know, an army of dragons/old gods/blights/what-have-yous.

To me that line was completely out of place, almost like something else was meant to be said but cut. Or nothing better could be thought of to put there. It just didn't flow with the moment. I mean he went straight from, I don't care about anything else but you being alive to that?

Pretty much this. Cullen has a habit of second guessing things, automatically thinking that perhaps he's misunderstood her romantic intentions because, as he said himself, it's been a long time since he's wanted anybody in his life and he's kept that side of himself locked away for so long.

He just very cautious because he so desperately wants the relationship to work but I think maybe part of him feels like he doesn't deserve her or that she'll see what he considers to be his shortcomings and run a mile, lol. Bless him.

I've just watched a Mythal Temple scene again to find his line and the dialog isn't there. :?
But I do remember Solas talking about Elven deities and dragons not being related. It's somewhere in the game. Perhaps in a dialog with the Inq.?

He mentions this when you arrive at Skyhold, when you ask him about Cory.

Eric! *tackle hugs* Where have you been?

Hello love :)

Playing Inquisition, making videos, avoiding the bulk of the "Cullen was supposed to be bi" fiasco because I would've just added more fuel to the fire, and traveling for the holidays.

I liked it. I knew it wasn't in reference to the relationship because he'd already told her that whatever happens after Corypheus he doesn't want to be without her and then reiterated it again during the prayer scene where he's close to tears at the thought of losing her.

Basically "I don't know what comes next" "neither do I" was in regards to what the world will be like after all these big changes, where the Inquisition will go from here, whether it'll become a permanent thing or disband once things calm down etc. The hugging scene as they look out across the skyline is there to represent that whatever the future may hold they'll face it together.

... And I swear, if BioWare forcibly kills either of them off or separates them I'll actually launch a rebellion!

This is how I interpreted it. Basically, he doesn't want to come off as a Number 11 and suddenly  be more into their relationship than her.

He'd never thought about a future beyond duty and service. Beyond mere survival.  Now that he has... he doesn't want to move on because he doesn't want to leave her. Then, he back pedals, worried she doesn't think the same. I love this scene.

My likes are gone again, but agree! It must be a scary thing for him to be completely free to choose what he will do. Even after all these months (?) of being "free." The Inquisition likely filled that void with some certainty of purpose. But, now the world's their oyster. Now what?!  I could see that being unsettling that he doesn't know what comes next and she's there to reassure him.

He's so heart tuggingly vulnerable in that scene, how could anyone say no to that face!

Exactly what I was thinking... the flow just felt off.

I'm guessing that is what they were going for, it just didn't translate well for me. Also it felt like what they were doing in that scene didn't line up quite right. For example he says he doesn't know what comes next and she... walks away. It's just weird to me. It probably didn't help that I had headcannoned that is was still very much nighttime when they left the party, and things happened... and then hey it's dawn and that sort of convo happened. It was just rather off :(
