My question is, why would he consider Corypheus a good person to lend it to? I expect his next move will by to try and hunt down someone else's orb and use that for whatever he was planning to, since he probably has enough "juice" now.
I guess because he doesn't see things as inherently "good" or "evil", so despite how Corypheus looks he likely didn't judge him on his physical appearance, especially if Corypheus fooled him into thinking he wanted to help... and that's if Corypheus even approached him in his true form, he may have been body jumping at the time.
Plus, we don't know how much Solas knows about Darkspawn, the corrupted old god dragons, etc. I suspect he knows how they originated (particularly if it was indeed the fault of his people, like some of the theories suggest) so his reason for giving Corypheus the orb may in part be due to his own guilt for his/his peoples behaviour. Hell, for all we know he may have known Cory personally before he became corrupted.
