Guys!! Someone went to Val Royeaux after finishing the game and they heard this: http://lydia-adams.t...ng-the-game-and
Huh...begs the question of did the epilogue scene happen before or after this occurence.

Good point, it could be a glitch or ambient npc banter that didn't pop earlier in the game.
I appreciate what they were trying to do with that one, but for me it made me more angry than anything else because to save both I had to completely change my long standing DA:O canon, which I was personally very attached to for reasons I won't go into again least I bore everyone, lol. I would've prefered to have the option of being able to save both, but only if you try really hard and do everything correctly.
What worries me about this one was that it's a bait and switch, and that whoever you "save" dies at Weisshaupt while whoever gets left behind actually survives somehow (we haven't seen a body, and I've watched a lot of comic book movies!) That will kind of cheese me off.
I actually really hope that the next installment in DA will be kind of a total departure from the prior games, either in time or space or both. Not to invite more Elder Scrolls comparisons, but I'm thinking the way Skyrim was set long after Morrowind/Oblivion, so there's passing mention of your previous protagonists, but there's no expectation or pressure to have them still around and doing stuff. That way, people can keep their headcanons. I also think it would be interesting to visit some of the new places in Thedas we keep hearing about but never see: Rivain, Seheron, Antiva, the Anderfels, Qunari lands.
Obviously Bioware can do what they like with the characters, they are theirs, but with PCs it does get a bit harder to let go, as players. We do shape their personalities, to an extent, and we're obviously going to get at least a little connected to them since they are representing us in the world, even if they act completely differently to our real selves. So basically, I want them to muck around as little as possible with my girls, and I'm happy if the way to do that is to leave them well behind.

True, I wasn't even thinking of that.
I was just commenting on the fact that we have no idea what the circumstances surrounding Flemeth are as of now. I think this elf is legit though either way.
I think it shows that Flemeth has been subtly manipulating a metric crap ton of stuff throughout history, and I have no doubt she can reach into people's dreams to manipulate them.
It's also possible that even though she's "inside Solas" (?) now, she could still reach out and touch the minds of sleepers in the mortal mind, trapped though she might be.
Why?! That's not cool. I hope you can find an easy remedy for this.

All I can say is thank the Maker for the DA Keep, lol. See, in regards to a Warden Alistair I figured he "disappeared" because he went to join our Warden in searching for the Calling (if romanced, or maybe he found out where she/he was). I guess time will tell and I'll adjust my playthroughs as and when needed... and then probably nerd rage a bit, lol.

Based upon the timing right now, I honestly think they should keep within the present, give or take a few years, cause I think they have some positive momentum going on right now in Thedas. That said, I too think we need to step away from the South, and even Laidlaw said he wants to go north. My guess is Tevinter/around that area for the next installment.
I doubt either the one in the Fade is dead or the Weisshaupt one is dead.

Or maybe she even put a piece of herself inside the Fade? Who can tell with her!
If it's after beating the game, doesn't that necessarily mean it's after the epilogue?Huh...begs the question of did the epilogue scene happen before or after this occurence.

That's the thing lol!
This woman has so many wheels turning in the world that you can never be sure with her!

Well, as Lola mentioned, it could have been a bit of bugged NPC ambient dialogue.
Gotcha.Well, as Lola mentioned, it could have been a bit of bugged NPC ambient dialogue.

But has anyone heard that dialogue before the epilogue? I'm also trying to think why she'd be near Val Royeaux at all before the final scene...?

I think its random dialog. I got it yesterday while I was shopping in Val Royeaux and I'm not nearly close to the end.
Dunno. I could also just see it being random banter that fires all throughout the game with no bearing on the current state of Flemeth. Tantalizing nonetheless. But has anyone heard that dialogue before the epilogue? I'm also trying to think why she'd be near Val Royeaux at all before the final scene...?

(edit: well, there ya go then! Thanks MerricksMom!)
Yeah, I'd like to find out some part of her survived, but so much for that theory, lol.
I still think she was doing some kind of shenanigans with that mirror as Solas showed up. There's still a chance! LOLYeah, I'd like to find out some part of her survived, but so much for that theory, lol.
I think Flemeth is far from over or is preparing for the finale. I have a feeling this time she will be out for blood and isn't going to stop until she gets her revenge upon the world. Flemeth isn't over...

It would be completely out of character for her to not have prepared something, especially as that final scene info indicates that she knew Solas would do that.
Also after reading the epilogues I kind of get the feeling that the Ferelden chapter is done, the subplot of Templars/Mages is wrapped up, now it's the Blight and the Wardens that will take the front seat (and the whole god mess)
Praying not only to Mythal but also Andraste that this subplot is really over and done and out case closed goodbye, because if I have to go one more game being forced to choose sides in this circular false dilemma over and over and over, I may have a nervous breakdown of Alistair-levels, running across town with my underpants on my head, screaming about cheese.
There is so much more that can be done with this universe than just rehash the same straw man game in/game out. This subplot needs to goooooooOOoooo.

ahahahaha, yes! It would be nice to see the story going places, because I don't want to turn 90 and still not know what's is going on (which I totally see happening at this rate)

BioWare would never write someone out of character ![]()
*whispers* FIONAAAAAA!
Not to be a downer, but reading the Cullen/lyrium speculation is reminding me that the game isn't over yet. There's still going to be an expansion or DLC so we really don't know how thick Cullen's plot armor is.
Sadistic & cruel that I am, I am really interested in knowing whether he'll really be able to go off lyrium without serious consequences. It can be a DLC about the relation of Fade, Magic & Lyrium.
Just got a very interesting convo with Dagna after Adamant & after she got whatever sample that was scrapped from my quizzy's body. Apparently, from I gathered, she had just... dream for the first time.
So, Connection to the Fade linked to Magic & Lyrium.
We know that there are several types of magics, normal one (linked to Lyrium & Fade), Blood Magic, Darkspawn magic to cite...
I wonder whether templars would be able to block Darkspawn Magic & Blood magic with their lyrium-activated abilities?
Oh man, this polyamory bug is hilarious. Right after Solas removed her vallaslin and made out with her/"dumped" her, she goes to hug Cullen. I feel awful but amused at the same time. I have no idea how to headcanon away this bug. I suppose I can just go back and have her "dump" Solas first, even though she already did but
he didn't take a hintthe game bugged out.
And the polyamory bug continued to the very end, intact. That was... interesting. It was also my first playthrough finishing the Cullen romance, so yay! I'll just stick to the headcanon that Solas and her were really... really close friends XD. I wonder if this was a fluke or if what I did was an exploit that can be repeated. Despite being locked into Cullen's romance and it being the only one acknowledged by other characters, Solas's card had changed too.
