Morie's version of Mini baby Cullen (just because I must...
)

Random question. Which music for DA do you guys like more? Inon Zur or Trevor Morris? Personally I really like the main theme for DAI and the tavern songs, but other than that I think I like Inon Zur's style more.
Trevor Morris is leagues ahead. DAO and DA2 just sound like, well, video game soundtracks.

Same here. I like DA:I's main theme. However, tbh, Inon Zur's musics are more memorable. I can hum most DA:O's and DA2 tunes everytime but can't remember DA:I's music.
TBH, DA:I style music is a bit geared toward exploration (like Skyrim, but sorry I'm still a bigger fans of Jeremy Saoule's work on Skyrim than Morris' take on Inquisition). Inon Zur's are more each piece tells a different story, different place & there are more distinction.

Yea I like that Trevor Morris is more orchestral and movie soundtrack-esque, but the memorability really isn't there for me. I do think his combat music is a little better than Inon Zur's though in the sense that I'd probably be more likely to listen to it outside of the game. But maybe Inon Zur's point was to create a sense of discomfort when listening to that.

If you like Ambient Music, I still recommend Jeremy Soule's work on Skyrim ![]()

Haha oh trust me, I know. I have all of Morrowind, Oblivion, and Skyrim's soundtracks. ![]()

That's one thing that I must give Bethesda two thumbs up: they managed to keep a same tune on three different games, three different version of main themes.
The tune is very very memorable. In Morrowind it's melancholic & pensieve. In Oblivion it really gives the feeling of great urgency & describe perfectly the greatness of Cyrodiil. In Skyrim it's the Barbarian/Viking & Epic version.
Hope that DA would do the same kind of tune, something that reminds us of the DA series.

It would be all over if Jeremy Soule did DA:I....

If you want to hear some amazing covers, check out Taylor Davis. I can't find it on Youtube, but here is her cover of "From Past to Present" from Skyrim:

And if you're a fan of Final Fantasy, these will bring tears to your eyes:
She does absolutely amazing gaming covers. Haven't heard her do Dragon Age yet, but she does do some stuff from Mass Effect. She has loads to listen to on Spotify.

Every time I hear music from Skyrim I'm like OMG I WANNA PLAY!!! My b/f has been playing it a lot lately and I'm getting the itch.
My problem is that I spent more time playing with modding it than actually playing the game... ![]()

Well, any activities surrounding the game itself is also great ![]()
I heard that some artist passed more time drawing Cullen than actually playing DA:I.
You're modding Skyrim or Inquisition?

Skyrim - I have about 80ish mods, all graphics and immersion
Sooooo, I enjoyed Cullen's romance and character so much I made a fan video
Wow!!! Love it!
Me, too. But again, the devil's in the details. Given his past with Meredith, I think Cullen has trust issues. So, that could be something very interesting to explore in a relationship... even if it could be very damaging for him.
Well I cannot blame Cullen for having trust issues. Look at all the crap he has gone through.
In my opinion and observations, I believe this is shown in the game. During the start of the romance, Cullen even says, he is unsure about the romance. Trust is the glue that holds any relationship together without that trust, it collapses into a heap of nothing.
While Cullen’s feelings towards The Inquisitor are something he can no longer ignore and/or fight, he is willing to let his guard-a little. You can see how unsure Cullen is during the “Kiss Scene” you can repeat. (Though I wish the scene would change depending on your choices through the relationship).
It seems as though each time Cullen puts his faith/trust in something or someone, it falls apart and he ends up paying the consequences for it. As time progresses with the relationship, Cullen seems to be more open, willing to accept his feelings and not fight them. More importantly understanding that while trust can fall apart numerous times, it is bound to succed.
However the doubt still lingers in the back of Cullen’s mind. He says, “IF we are still together, it hardly matters." The choice word, “If” stood out for me. It sounds lke Cullen is still struggiling with trust, but no where near as much as he was when the relantionship started.
As the relationship progresses over time (past the game ending), I’ll assume that lingering whisper still swirling around in the back of his mind will become nothing more then a faded memory.

When did he say this line?
I was wondering whether I could get some input with an idea I've had on lyrium. I am working on a new chapter for my DA 2 fanfic, and Cullen will play a key role in it. I want to make sure that his character will feel right ![]()
Normally, I do not like to deviate from the lore, but sometimes doing so helps me tell the story better. In this case, I was thinking that lyrium, in addition to giving the Templar abilities we already know of, helps Templars sense a connection to the Fade.
Cole mentions that Templars are immune to magic because their connection to the Fade is blocked - or something on those lines. So, what if when taking lyrium, by having the Fade blocked, Templars become aware of a vacuum whenever mages are around? The greater the sense of emptiness, the greater the power of the mage - or, it could just be a demon. Which would constitute another reason for Templars being wary of mages. As the effects of the lyrium wear off, so would the ability to "sense" mages and demons.
I'd appreciate any help you might offer ![]()
When did he say this line?
After the sexy scene, you can ask him what he will do when everything is over:
I think the "if" part is taken out of context. He is saying that he doesn't care what happens as long as they are together.

Oooh thank you! Because I asked him that question between Adamant & Halamshiral & he gave different response. IIRC it was something like "I don't know, I'm not used to having so many possibilities".
Never got that line from him ![]()
One possible interpretation: he's not so sure that both of them will get out alive ![]()

How so?
The word is in there for a reason, if there was no reason it would not be there. Much like his use "yet" in The Winter Palace.
YESSSSS! ThreeF found this video on Cullen playing chess with a male quizzy. It's confirmed: if you play fair & win, he'll ask for a replay is actually a romance line only available to lady human/elven quizzy. Male quizzy didn't get that!
