Oh, Zevran.
Well, his romance plot was a slow burn. Getting into the tent was the easy part!
Speaking of tents....do you think we'll actually be able to enter the tents and open doors w/o load screens? /this is important!

I hope it's difficult. I hope it's difficult to romance all of them. Makes payoff better.
I've run out of likes! LIKE!

I don't know enough about the game engine to answer this. Less loading screens are always good. And the more places I can stick my nose into and rob blind take a gander at the better!

Kind of like Skyrim, I hope. I'd also be cool to lockpick doors and such. ![]()

Despite being really excited to know more about the followers (especially Cullen, of course) right now im more intrigued with the inquisitor. Not only with his\her backstory but also with customization (shallow i know
). I would love to be able to make a pc that looks unique and not just a random npc
... Do you think they will give us the cc before the game release?
I think them releasing a CC will depend on if they're confident they've scrubbed it of important information. Like the entire game script. I can see it going either way.

So I had a dream that Solas was featured in today's FF. There were all these screenshots of his giant head, and the artists were showing how helmets wouldn't fit properly on his head so as to mock the fans who said they would cover his bald head with a helmet. I was so mad! Then I woke up... and checked my iPad sitting beside my bed, and was so relieved the BW blog hadn't been updated ![]()

Oh, I hope so. I hope he starts off wary and we have to build a friendship with him first. Only then can we start to make overtures that aren't rejected. (And please, please, please let him get a bit flustered!)
I'm hoping for slow-burn romances all around. Like if you were careful about dialogue in DAO, the pacing of the romances could take the entire game. I loved that. In DA2 I think they relied too much on the time-skips, and so the relationships didn't feel like they grew at all. I'm hoping the event-gated conversations in DAI will make things feel like they build better.
This! (Though admittedly I for one would be fine if he isn't flustered/awkward... Perhaps conflicted between duty and romance, but if they are setting him up as a big ol' military general/advisor, leading your growing and eventually-impressive forces, I'd like him to have outgrown boyish awkwardness. I won't mind if it is still there as a trademark of sorts, but I won't be disappointed if it isn't!)
I am definitely hoping for much better pacing with romances and deep friendships this time around. It felt so rushed in DA2, especially for characters like, say, Anders who is more prone to being forthcoming about their attraction/feelings. That's all well and good if the pacing isn't wonky... In DA2 I had to keep reminding myself about time gaps, which was immersion breaking for me.
I definitely hope Cullen will become proactive as the relationship develops, for sure. I hate when it feels like my PC is doing all the assertion. Admittedly I'm a borderline submissive, sexually speaking (er, TMI, I KNOW!) so part of my frustration stems from that. My PCs tend to be more assertive/alpha than I am so I do try to work with it... But it's nice to feel wooed!

I'm trying to get one of my characters to become a werewolf. My game keeps lagging at that part, though!

I'm pretty torn right now actually- on the topic of lockpicking and thieves. I basically always play a rogue my first go. That's because my first playthrough is -the- playthrough I canon, because it's the one I'm not trying to meta-game. I play a rogue because I can't stand not to be able to open all chests and lockpick all doors and it's such a hassle having Varric do it, and you inevitably miss one before you get your rogue.
But I really feel like the story will work better with a mage.
At least I have six months to figure it out.
ETA: Skyrim gives me migraines.
Many hours of headaches to figure it out. It was a sad day when I traded it in.

Hopefully, they'll have this part figured out so those who don't take rouges with them can still loot!

This is exactly me. I get twitchy when I see chests and doors I can open. But in both DA2 and from the looks of DAI, playing a mage makes a lot of sense. I'm going as a rogue the first time through, though. I cannot handle not knowing what's in those boxes at the start of the game. Can't do it.

I am having the same issue! It's always a toss up between rogue or Mage for me. I'm feeling Mage right now, but I hate having the lock picking issue! But I really think I'll be using Cassandra and Varric a LOT in my first PT, as they seem to be the most likely - right now - to have a lot of interesting/formative input throughout the game. (Helps that I love both characters, too) and switching up the third slot so maybe that'll help for me? But, yes, I get annoyed sometimes having to wait for my rogue to open stuff, impatient wench that I am

Rogue is usually always ALWAYS my first playthrough in any fantasy game. I just love me some rogues. I am considering a mage first this time, though, but knowing me... I'll still end up going rogue. Now which RACE that rogue will be I have no damn idea. I'm so torn!
...Might end up going with what I did for my very first playthrough of Origins, though, which was a dwarfette rogue.
But female Qunari!
...A-and I've had a male human rogue idea stuck in my head for months.

No. I imagine he will never think something like that is saucy, after what he's seen in his life. /headcanon

Considering what he went through, I would say a very, very big no. In fact considering what he went through anyone that suggests a game like that to him deserves a hard right hook to the face.
