Considering what he went through, I would say a very, very big no. In fact considering what he went through anyone that suggests a game like that to him deserves a hard right hook to the face.

Rogue is usually always ALWAYS my first playthrough in any fantasy game. I just love me some rogues. I am considering a mage first this time, though, but knowing me... I'll still end up going rogue. Now which RACE that rogue will be I have no damn idea. I'm so torn!
...Might end up going with what I did for my very first playthrough of Origins, though, which was a dwarfette rogue.

In DA2, it was easier because there was, like, one, maybe two chests that you couldn't open if you weren't playing a rogue. I could handle that. Thy were everywhere in Origins. I hated Daveth for being the worst rogue ever. Unless I find out otherwise, I'll assume it's like this in DAI and play rogue once more! A qunari Rogue! A qunari archer!

I like to think Cullen is a bit harder since we last saw him. Spent some time drinking. Slept around a bit. Cynical. Worldly....nevermind. This train of thought turns itself into FF.
I'm not really interested in another Alistair in a different body, though. I think that's why I'm hoping so much that Beardy McAwesomesohot is romancable. For the ladies. I'm sure he's got all kind of demons that left scars. And I want to see them. 
Wheverever they may be.

Just give your character daddy issues. Make her an orphan, maybe.
Then again I'm in my 30's so that's just my type.
The only other male character I'd like to romance is Varric. Not very interested in Solas, DHMG or Warden as LIs. And definitely not Cole.
But maybe I'll change my mind when we get to know them...
