Have you seen the Blackwall x F!Dwarf Quizzie romance scene? Once their feet are shown (so they are both on the floor), the next moment, the girl is at Blackwall's eye-level. And this gets repeated. It's as if Blackwall keeps picking her up, then putting her down again
DA:I is a great game, I'm loving it. Is it perfect? Nothing ever is I still think it was worth every penny I spent on it. And I will buy all the DLC they will produce

OMG! It totally is! Best line in the game, imho On my mage play through, I only had Dorian with me, so I missed all the snarky remarks. But I am playing a dual-wield Quizzy right now, and Dorian and Solas are a fixture Add Blackwall to the mix, and you get banter gold

Just wanted to comment...I LOVED playing a female noble rogue in DAO. I was smartt and sassy and my big bro Fergus loved me cause I was a "saucy minx" and my chum ser Gilmore always blushed a little when I came around cause I had dagger-sharp wit and was a little wild. I played it with all the angst and bitterness about her family, that she had nightmares about little Oren, that she sorta hoped Fergus was dead so she wouldn't have to tell him about his wife and little boy, etc. I loved the angst that origin story gave me. I was on a mission to make Howe pay! When Fergus comes back at the end, I literally cried because I imagined them growing up together and her always being a little smarter than him, but secretly looking up to him, and how happy she would be to see him after all she had been through.
Thus, the Alistair + rogue Cousland was a great pairing because he liked her wit and vivacity and he made her smile even though she was hurting, etc. My favorite pairing EVER!
So I have always liked the human rogue the best, personally. BUT, in DAI, I have to say that I missed the "use your cunning over your sword" aspect of playing a rogue. I never got to outsmart anyone...I just shot the hell out of them with my arrows. Kinda ruined it for me...

Which makes my Quizzy's personality not as much fun... There was a really great and well though out post about the lack of options in the game to develop the quizzie in one of the forums (but folks got on there and bashed the OP really badly, which was a shame because he had really valid points). Anyway, I have to say I do miss things like deciding whether to convince someone to fight in a battle or trick them or blackmail them or threaten them. Or little things like not being able to lie your way out of a situation if you weren't cunning enough. I feel like all may DAO wardens were very different because there were so many options to make them different.
Even though you get tonal options in the dialogue in this game, it is not the same as using your personality to solve problems. Even the romance stuff is a little samey, except for big choices (e.g. lyrium versus non-lyrium). One of my favorite dialogues in DAO was talking to Alistair about his parents and he says they were dogs from the Anderfels and you get that laugh from him by saying his mom musta been a real b**tch. You had to be pretty snarky to get to that line, but it was totally worth it!
Anyway, I am off to run around the Exalted Plains. I have Cole and Dorian with me and am really enjoying their conversations (it helps to drown out the terrible background drone that I cannot turn off).
I'm particularly enjoying Dorian with Sera and Solas. Dorian and Solas have some particularly funny mage-oriented conversations. I think I need to figure out which fighter is best with Dorian and Solas to run with my rogue.
This sort of remind me of Jimmy Kimmel's I'm **** Ben Affleck....I had Dorian and Solas together a lot in my first PT. That banter was even funnier when i heard it, because Dorian was wearing an orange enchanter mail! XD

They did a really good job of it in places, though (see BlackwallxAdaar dancing photo a couple of pages back).
