Hi all - can anyone tell me what dialogue option triggers this response?

If anyone has a link to a video of it, even better! I feel like I've seen this scene in a dozen different vids, but I've only ever seen him talk about not being apart of the Order anymore, and therefore no longer restricted from fraternization.
It's in FluffyNinjaLlama's first version of the scene when you choose the "I worry what you think of me" option:

With weird spacey techno music playing in the background?! Yes please! Still don't know how comfy Garrus skinny legs could be with Shep sitting on them, oh well.
If the tavern bard could come up and play the instrumental version of "I am the one" while cuddling by the fire, I'd be a happy quizzy
Haha, poor Garrus, I'm sure he doesn't mind, since you know, the wrestling story.
That would be perfect. I can just picture the bard playing and my Inquisitor dancing with Cullen on the balcony. ![]()

See!? That gorgeous bedroom has so much potential!! So under utilized and awkward and I can't even remember if it actually has a fireplace?!?
And a sofa!!!
How much headcannon I had poured on that sofa...
Sofa in front of the fire, a tired Cullen fell asleep while reading a report... Then awaken to find himself covered in a blanket and his hair all curly now.

I never picked that option and still triggered it. I chose the one referring to being alone with a mage.
I was so mad at the fact that he didn't get to personally kill Imshael, after all the business in TME. Michel deserved that kill, it wasn't mine to take away from him. Also kinda sad that Imshael suddenly became such an inept demon that he didn't even have a decent offer to make my Quizzie. I was so creeped out by him in the book, in the game he was just a generic rambling demon.
And I wanted to talk to Michel! I wanted to ask him all the questions, wanted my Quizzie to understand him, to have a reason to give a disgraced Chevalier a second chance at life, to voice a vote of confidence in him... not just AGENT ACQUIRED and a quick "hey sup thanx for everything" back at Skyhold. Bummer.
I wanted to do more than just talk to Michel... *ahem*
What I think I hate the most are the missions that take like 8 to 12 hours. Yeah, I get it, the Warden is off in the boonies and it will take forever to find him/her. But jeez louise this is just awful game design. It basically punishes you for playing the game instead of setting war table stuff up and turning it off.

Ah the feels. Cullen is literally one, pretty much the main one, of the reasons I am getting back into fanfiction haha.
Give him time, he might surprise you.
Yes...yes indeed. Twas a pleasant surprise ![]()

I re-created my Dalish mage with your skin texture brows and they look great on elves too!

Apparently the sofa and fireplace were only used in Josie's final romance scene (after the dueling thing)... Such a waste. My inquisitor would like to be cuddling with Cullen on the sofa while he was reading reports and the inquisitor was reading her nerdy arcane books.
I never picked that option and still triggered it. I chose the one referring to being alone with a mage.
This one also results from choosing the "alone with a mage" option, though. It's the choice you make right after his response to the mage specific question that nets you this response zest was inquiring about.

You may call me superficial but him turning the inquisitor down then inviting her to dance make this scene one of my favourite moments in the romance arc. ![]()

Yeah because you can totally tell that it was bugging him that he turned her down...then finally worked up the courage to ask her to dance. ![]()

Hmmm...I don't remember which other it was, but definitely not the one mentionned above. I'd have to reload and see again.

Right?! And he did it in front of his other Cullenites. Not trying to cause a riot, but I'm digging his romance waaaaaay more than I did Alistair. Don't get me wrong: it was endearing too...But damn it Cullen. My Quizzie is getting what Amell never could (not that she didn't try). That business with throwing all them bottles off the desk drove me nuts. That look he had: "Oh...this is what we're doing?" ![]()
Ok, time to get a grip now.

Never get a grip...unless it's a firm grip on Cullen's shoulders hehe.

Oh man..... I ended up sacrificing Hawke in the Fade. It was really tough for me to do it since well after all it's my Hawke who went through all those crazy adventures in Kirkwall. I did feel that it was fitting since Hawke can finally feel like a hero and actually do something that has a positive effect for once. However seeing the look on Varric's face when I told him was hard to watch, and to top it off he has to tell Merrill about what happened! Just when I thought I the emotional parts were over, I was faced with a terrible truth about Blackwall...... ![]()
So... I'm trying to figure out who my Mage Fem!Trevelyan should support to close the Breach and finding myself a tad stuck?
As a player, I'm pro-Mage in general and I think the Divine Leliana and Circle ending seems more upbeat, but at the same time, roleplaying it and trying to get into the mindset of my character, I'm doubting whether or not she'd go in that direction?
I figure that as a noble who's family who heavily involved in the Chantry and Templars, she'd be far more on the fence about the entire Mage/Templar conflict. While she's by no means all that religious or even sure that she is the Herald, it strikes me that she'd want to reach out to the nobility in Orlais for support, try to build bridges with the Templars and remove the label of "Heretic" that she's been unfairly saddled with?
And as I'm planning to make this my Cullenmance playthrough, I'm curious to whether or not siding with the Templars makes his story arc more or less interesting than if you side with the mages, since that removes the entire Samson subplot?
Hmm... decisions, decisions? ![]()
Is it just me or does Cullen's scar look vaguely like a bite mark up close?

I think it is ultimately decided by how you are going to RP your char. As a mage Trev, she can spend time with her family as her circle was not that strict so it is easy to justify her motivations to seek the templars rather than the mages. However, I would always have Leliana as the Divine and the college established whenever I play a mage inquisitor, just to ensure the inquisitor is a free mage.
Siding with templars cost you Before the Dawn and a flirt post-BtD. Before the Dawn would flesh out his struggle with his past/templar order but some ppl feel this makes his character a little bit dark and uneasy. It's up to you to decide if it is worthy. Personally, I would side with mages for Cullenmance pts because of more Cullen airtime and the little field trip with him.

Spoiler
That would be some serious lip biting action and a funny/embarassing story for him to tell as well.
