I think so too. I hopped for some of those differences to be restored (I love that Cullen armor) but, well, I suppose they were modified for a reason ^^
It's nice to actually see his legs for once, lol.

Yeah, I know the twist lol.
I really wanna do a Solasmance, but right from the get go I got an uneasy feeling about him even though I liked him as a character and my Inquisitor got along with him... I dunno if I was just subconsciously picking up on the fact that he was hiding a secret or something. I suspect it's gonna be hard not flirting with Cullen lol.
Yeah, but Solas and his evasiveness are fair less obvious than Blackwall, who seems to scream "I'm hiding something" in most of his conversations. Solas' hints and some of his lines are actually pretty subtle and only really apparent once you know the twist.
I'd recommend the Solasmance, it's got some great and incredibly bittersweet moments in it.

If only the pants were a little bit tighter...
lol! not gonna disagree with that! ^^
If only the pants were a little bit tighter...
Let's hope for an upcoming patch with some leather pants, lord knows we collected enough material for it.
Speaking of which - it would have been nice to see your advisors be in some other outfit in at least one scene, other than at the Winter Palace. Even when Cullen follows you to find Samson he's still wearing the feathered cape which doesn't seem practical for a warrior.
We can mod that, lol.
lol im out of likes but LIKE

I know it's shallow but I'm just not attracted to the Solas character - he's got a Billy Corgan vibe. And Blackwall while shady was so open to flirts it was so easy to go for it. Cullen give you no uneasy feelings but it's still so nice and fun.

I'll be honest, if I hadn't already known that Blackwall had a dark secret years in advance I wouldn't have known to look out for the signs, and even then I hadn't guessed what he was hiding, LOL! With Solas I found it odd that he knew about certain things and just happened to be in the area when the breach tore open etc, at first I thought it was just plot holes but as it went on I just found him to be kinda shifty... I would never have guessed his big secret though.

I could see the female recruits in the Inquisition having a crush on Commander Tightpants...

Yeah, I would've liked to see him wearing something casual in some of the romance scenes. It feels less intimate seeing them getting romantic when he's in full armour, especially in the sex scene.

I started wondering about Blackwall in the very first scene they released before the game came out when he was talking about the Grey Wardens and claimed to have been in Ferelden during the blight. Not only did that not fit, it contradicted the Blackwall letter we'd seen in advance.
Yeah, that would be great. But I'm not really optimistic, I'm convinced Cullen's armor wasn't supposed to look like it does in game today. Remember that video we had during Gamescom? The armor looked just like its concept art and, to me, the red coth made more sense (2 parts crossing on the front and hold together with the belt) :
I hoped the character kits was this update (plus look at that pj), but you are probably right, it will be high res character pictures references.
I really wish they kept his flappy skirt bit at the bottom. It would have made his belt a little less stand outish and plus I think it was rather sexy *sigh*
I think that everyone needs some nice casual clothes or alternate outfits, like in ME2 which were often far better than the bog-standard ones.
But the Inquisitor especially needs a makeover. We all know that the Skyhold pyjamas are absolutely atrocious and have been telling the devs since before launch. It's sad that even Hawke's dressing gown robes in DA2 were better than what the Inquisitor gets... no wonder that very few of the people we sit in judgement over take us seriously, when we look like we didn't get dressed this morning?

Honestly, I just want to be able to choose to wear my armor in Skyhold; it would certainly make more sense and be a helluva lot more impressive. Looking at my Dalish running around Skyhold is downright painful, with the beige pajamas just adding to the pain. My Dalish warrior is literally half the person by mass in those pajamas compared to armor. I'm trying to find the fastest routes, including fast travel points, to get in and out of Skyhold so she's back in armor with a shield concealing her walk.

I've been wondering whether or not it was the real Blackwall who wrote that letter in the WoT book or if it was Rainier to avoid actually aiding the HoF in the Blight because he's obviously not really a Warden etc.
Yeah, it hardly looks professional that the head of an Inquisition wore armour in public as just another agent, yet as Inquisitor, wears mediocre clothing.

I thought Blackwall had done something because he kept saying he wasn't worthy, and that we can't be together (and that also makes it hard to resist) but I never even remotely came close to what actually happened. Good stuff.
Yes for better casual wear in general and especially in romance scenes. With Blackwall it got super annoying, he NEVER takes off that christmas ham looking armor even during the sex scenes. Nobody needs to walk around with armor all day except for the commander and maybe the Inquisitor. At least with Cullen you got him sort of naked once.

Not just mediocre. Beige is essentially undyed cloth; not even peasants wore it. There's no way Josephine and Leliana would allow the Inquisitor to appear in clothing that color.

It was the real Blackwall, because Rainier only took on Blackwall's identity in 9:37, whereas that letter was from 9:30.
And it does amuse me that for a supposed good man, the real Blackwall's reaction to Loghain closing the borders, refusing foreign aid and accusing the Wardens of regicide, pretty much boils down to a firm "F**k 'em".

To me, almost all of Blackwall's armor looks like it comes from the "House Robe Armor" line. Looks like he should be wearing it with his fuzzy house slippers. Which, I guess, isn't any worse than the IQ wearing her PJs. ![]()

Ha - yeah as soon as I could I got him the Warden armor and/or the Orlesian armor. At least it's actual metal armor and not made of blankets.

I've never really been able to forgive Blackwall for what he did, and in my second PT I brought him to meet warden Alistair to see if there was any interesting dialogue. When Alistair brings up Duncan, the way Blackwall shrugs him off and his comments later on the calling p*ss me off so much. Here's Alistair who respects the wardens more than anyone, and then there's BW who's full of sh*t. I was boiling from his commentary. [/fiery ramble]
