Yup. And it matches his military personality in-game far better than baby face Cullen.
I can picture this Cullen saying No. This is ridiculous. and sounding respectful. He sure fits the role of Commander, seeming to be a stern leader and also an austere one, a fate fitting for the former templar who spent a few years trying to restore order in Kirkwall, a city facing civil war.
He looks like someone who transmits authority through experience because said experience is shockingly visible in his face. And he does look like someone who's a workaholic, who doesn't have time to smooth his hair, comb his lion maine and other frivolities.
I may like the blondie Cullen, but it sure would've been nice -or more canon in my head - for austere Cullen to be the Inquisition's Commander. Plus, he does look like the former templar we met back in Origins.

I don't know, I thought the moments in the game where Cullen is stern/determined/pissed off came across as very authoritative and seasoned. Even from the first moments where he's training the recruits and the way he carries himself most of the time. 10 years of the life he's had would make anyone grow up pretty fast. And think of all the relatively young people today in positions of command in the armed forces. Personally I think most of the designs of the men in Origins left a lot to be desired with a couple of exceptions and I'm fine with the retconning to reflect advances in technology. These people in Inquisition look real.

I'm not sure even they knew the shitstorm of adoration that was coming their way. Everything just clicked. I wonder if this will end up eclipsing Alistair as far as numbers of people who romance him? You never forget your first.
