I love that Alistair pics are making it on here!!  I still have yet to go to adamant with my warden Alistair because i like having him on my tower at Skyhold.  I go and flirt with Cully, then run down the battlements to see my boy!

 

I want to make a male quizzy that looks like Alistair in the new game.  Has anyone done this?  if so, can you share?  I can't get it right!!!  My plan is to make an Alistair look-a-like to romance Josephine, so it can be puppy-love!!!!!!!!!!!

 

AND, I just finished Cullen's Samson quest with Ciara and I have to say...It really bothers me that Maddox was made tranquil for having a sweetheart. That is some major BS and it makes me feel more than a little ill!!

 

I am working on my fic here and there and my mage Ciara is going to be a little less diplomatic with her response to this (she has MAJOR problems with tranquility).  I am thanking it will be their first real argument in the relationship. (Ciara does not trust templars based on her past experiences, finds it hard to warm up to Cully despite some attraction, and so...this will definitely be a major hurdle for them to cross). It may even end things for them...(I am still deciding whether or not to be cruel in this fic)...     I am letting it write itself.

 

Also, started working on the "Memories" themed fic for the 5000 page...and I am doing all in my power to make you all cry!!!!

You need to romance him with a Warden who is not really a nice person and makes a lot of renegade choices and argues with him a lot. Alistair's got some fire in him when you let him shout all his pent-up anger and resentment at the world out. It gives him and the romance a whole different feel that's not puppy love at all.

 

Of course, all arguments are then made up with a good make out session, because for all the fire bottled up in him, Al's still a teddy bear at heart.

 

I think half the problem is the way gift-giving works. I killed Isolde on one playthrough and he's all angry when we get back to camp, and I can't remember what I said but like, "I did the best I could" and he says, "Well, okay" or something and then I can give him the locket and he completely forgets that he was ever mad. I mean, regardless of my options, he should stay mad for awhile. It was a big deal and I didn't make that decision lightly, and yes, he argues which is good and he should, but then that's it.

 

In Inquisition you do have to feel your way around in conversation with people to see what they like and what they don't like, and even now, with Solas, I know he won't like something but I have to do it anyway. I can't just give him something that will make him like me again.

 

Maybe I just need to replay Origins with a different mindset. There are a lot of things I don't say to Alistair because he's just such a nice guy and I don't want to hurt his feelings. There's a line in Lothering when you're talking about why he wants you to start making decisions for the group and I've never picked it because it just seems mean. It's something I want to say but I typically RP the noble who's been taught to act like a lady and if you can't say anything nice then don't say anything at all. But I guess all that gets thrown out the window when Duncan drags you away from your parents, right?

Oh...that makes sense. I thought I had seen all Cullen-related stuff!  I had no idea this even existed!

I would buy a LI-based DLC (after all, remember ME3 DLC with the party?).  As long as I don't have to do fetch quests to get parts of my wedding dress!

Yeah something like Citadel with a big chunk of time dedicated to your LI would be great.  I think I may like the DA:I team more than Shep's crew so more hangouts with them is a must (although I preferred my FemShep to my Femquisitor).

@Eham do u know if the upcoming patches will impose some issues with the DAI tool? I know that last time there was a patch u had to "update" ur tool, will this be the case for every patch that BW releases or no?

 

 

No it shouldn't pose any immediate threat, the only thing would be people will need to regenerate their merged patch to get the new patch data

I wonder whether the first tarot card of the general, depicting 50-60 year old dude was not a filler, as we thought, to hide Cullen's role in the inquisition but a direct tie to his early character concept. Can't find the pic now but it had a grey hair mustachio guy referred to as general. If yes, then hmm...

Naw, that guy looked nothing like Cullen, tho.

I too thought I had seen all Cullen stuff but I just saw what happens if you turn down that dance (again, who would?).  He puts his arm around you, which is incredibly sweet, but - still not a dance.

Y'know what would be pretty awesome? The DA Keep has already implemented a little mini game into it. What if they created a Wicked Grace game, and you could play against friends or random opponents online? I've been really interested in playing since the Wicked Grace scene in DAI. It would be so much fun.

So as a reminder, Page 5000 is approaching. We're doing about 18 pages a day, so we'll hit 5000 in about 2.5 weeks.
 
THE THEME
The theme that has emerged is "Thanks for the memories!"  What does this mean? Whatever you want it to, so long as it's Culleny. Get inspired by memories, nostalgia, thanks for game, thoughts on the end of the game, thoughts on what happens after the game, favorite memory from the game, favorite memory from being a Cullen fan, looking back, looking forward, whatever. 
 
WHAT TO CONTRIBUTE
Describe your fave memory from in game, or post a screenshot of it. Write a poem inspired by memories. Make a drink recipe that induces a black out of memories. Art, photomanip, fanfic, screenshot, text, banter, dialogue, drink recipe, limerick, fic, whatever. Go for it. All is good, so long as it's Culleny. Ask if you need suggestions for places to post fic or art, etc.

Lady Inquisitor (Travelyan) and Cullen.  This woman does fanfic (pretty smutty but fantastic) on Tumblr. She will write something and Greendelle will usually do a companion art piece.  They've been teasing about this new piece for days.
