I romanced Zevran once and it was so hard to not romance Alistair. I was internally crying lol

You could romance him with a male warden.Like if I want to romance someone that is not Cullen I have to roll a male IQ. But if you get ninja-manced by Zevran like I do, it means you can't romance anyone, because he can romance everyone...that's how I end up with wardens from different origins all romanced Zevran.There is no way around it. My plan to romance Morrigan never happened because of that. Stupid sexy bisexual man!(I have no regrets)

For those here who romanced Cullen with a Dalish mage, how did you approach the romance?  It was easier to RP an archer Dalish or even a human ex-Circle mage who romanced him.  I'm not sure how things would work between the two.  A lot of tension, there.

O_O Your Keep is going to be taken over by all those incomplete profiles...I had 20 profiles of characters I never even used...

 

I approached the romance with Farelle in a way that she had always been interested in humans*she wanted to learn more about them*, and never really experienced a relationship inside her clan even though she flirted with a few from time to time. 

 

I also headcanoned that she challenged Cullen on his beliefs of the Maker, not in the way that dismissed his beliefs but in a manner that made him remember that she had her own beliefs. So I approached the romance in a way that my Lavellan was firm in her beliefs, but also open with Cullen when it came to her inexperience with relationships. Which made them bond a little more imo, plus she believed that relationships were very important much like Cullen...it was a pretty good experience.

When I was thinking of romancing him with my Dalish mage, I knew she would be distrustful of him at first so, I picked all the options that led to that. However, I kind of played it as the more she got to know him and really saw that he was different, she slowly would open up to him. I ultimately ended up with Solas though because I made her for the Solamance haha.

Ah such a good idea. I actually just made a male mage on Origins to romance Morrigan, so I'm excited because I know I'll be ending up with Zevran.

I would describe it much better, but watching Solas break up with my Lavellan again has put me in a somber mood.In a simplified state, Farelle was straightforward with him in both her beliefs, and feelings. I believe she was a mixture of diplomatic/sarcastic when it came to responding to Cullen, but when it came to serious situations like the Haven one. She responded with the third option of where she told Cullen to go and that she would take care of it.

Yeah, they were far too slow for what I thought an archer should had been capable of. I was always a mage or a DD rouge in DAO, but in DAI they really have made me respect all the classes. I still wish that we could have DW warriors though, I loved my Elissa who was a DW in DA:O...she was pretty damn deadly.

 

Seeing all these conversations about Zevran and where he may be, has led me to a certain headcanon. He is off in Antiva preparing a leather making company and is planning on using some of those products on his blushing bride, once she discovers the cure for The Calling.

Or have her use them on him. Zevran struck me as an equal opportunity partner...

Hey all!  Just played adamant and there is something interesting if you do Wicked hearts before adamant with Alistair as the Warden...

because Morrigan is at Skyhold and the 2 of them can meet in the garden, with the old-god-boy and all that (in mine, he is the kid's father), he mentions her at tend of admant!!

When you do here lies the abyss, if you let Alsiatir live, the last thing he says to you is...

"Tell Morrigan,,,well...just tell her I stood around like an idiot". 

or something like that. it was...sooo..Alistair!Then that sideways smile of his!!!! SQEEEEEEL!  

 

I am so glad I did the ultimate Alistair playthrough (Ie - Crestwood, then talk to him at skyhold, then contact HOT, then talk to him again, then Wicked hearts, then watch him and Morrigan and their kid meet up, then ritual tower, then talk to him again, then Adamant, then say goodbye).  It was pretty epic!!

 

Now I have officially said goodbye to him to focus on Cully.  It is hard...like letting go of my twenties or something!!!

I'm still building that one, not even as far as the chess game yet with her. She's uneasy with anyone who is still a Templar, but she was so busy worrying about the breach (and the risk of the Inquisition or Chantry executing her) that she didn't really register that Cullen was an ex-Templar until she was already used to him. And very early, she overheard the one soldier apologizing to the elven scout after obviously being chewed out by Cullen for insulting her which made her more inclined to trust him. Then when she asked him questions, he was very candid about what he'd done as a Templar, and Cole pretty much tells you that some bad things had happened to Cullen. I also rather headcannon her as First to a Keeper not much older than she is, and honestly she'd be just as happy finding a reason to not return to her clan, so she's less concerned about her clan's reaction to a human romance than she might be. The fact he's so straightforward and honest compared to most of the rest of the Inquisition also attracts her.

 

Dunno if that makes sense, it's kind of late, lol.
