Has anyone seen Black Mirror, I think it's the third episode?

Yeah, someone romancing Blackwall or Bull might find it more romantic to imagine they carried their Quizzie through the snow, someone romancing Sera or Josie might like the idea of leaning of their girl's shoulder, etc. We love the idea of Cullen carrying the IQ here because we're in the Cullen thread, but not everyone would find it as sweet as their own LI doing the heavy lifting. The way the scene was left in the game is vague enough that anyone can imagine the rest of it any way they want.

Agreed.  Best to leave it in the imagination of the player.

i see we are discussing attractive people. this would be about as tactful as I could be if I was in Thedas surrounded by all these suspiciously attractive men and women. I've also never seen abs in person before. That would be an interesting experience.

I have no idea what a spec map is.  Is this what they use to overlay over the skeletal animation or whatever it's called?

 

It determines the amount of shininess of a surface. The whiter parts of Cullen's spec map are the shinier, more reflective parts of his face.

 

Also, for anyone that's interested, here's his regular face texture:

Well considering I absolutely hate liars...Blackwall doesn't really interest me in the slightest. Besides no one can beat Fenris when it comes to brooding.

Oh, it works for me alright.  The nice thing about games is you can romance both!

Easy, Blackwall does absolutely nothing for me and I've been after Cullen for years, sooooooo yeah, easy choice!

In my case, I went for Cullen because it was an unresolved issue from DA:O. And, he's also hot. I had started a romance with Blackwall. but I found that he reminded me of my bf. Since I have him in real life...Cullen it was and I shan't be looking back.

Yeah, Cullen is way better than Blackwall but I still enjoyed both romances.  Solas does nothing for me even when I played as an elf.  Sera I actually came to like a lot in my second playthrough (i ended up doing more stuff she agreed with and she opened up) but wasn't interested in romancing her, and Josie is cute and all but does nothing for me.

Cullen has always been my favorite, but Blackwall lost all of my interest when his lies were revealed. I couldn't bring myself to get rid of him (I can never do that except with maybe Isabela) but I sure as hell didn't bring him in my party after that.

Oh boy lol. I hope not! Just the brawny and huge dark beard part. I think someone else mentionned that Blackwall reminded them of their father. I do not recall who it was.

Well... I saw a nice prompt here about Cullen met Amell after a few decades, both rugged & weathered. And I got a few hours delay of my train today so... I wrote something. I'll just post them here. I promise I did not make anyone got tortured, killed, or anything like that like in my last fanfic. It's general cute fluff

Eh i dont mind broody, ive just had enough of wardens spouting about 'duty'   In my first playthrough i was happily flirting with everyone, blackwalls early flirts just made me roll my eyes, ive had no interest in him since lol. I tend to pick those with the most 'natural' seeming flirts and a sense of humour. As an example in ME, liara had the interests that i find most interesting (the love of old ruins, exploring, generally being nice, kinda shy) but her flirting was just... dull to me. Whereas kaidans flirting felt natural, funny and charming. So ive always ended up romancing him. So far in DA cullens flirting flows the best so hes the one i tend to go for, though solas seems interesting too.

Personally as a guy I'd honestly rather be like Blackwall, ugly past and all, but I surprisingly did like Cullen in the game. It's a shame you don't get to fight with him though. I felt like I could grow to like him more, but you barely get any time to interact with him. I get why of course, but still.

 

Could have at least fought with you in Haven or something for a little while.
