At this point, I'm like, yeah, I'll have four canons. Two humans, one who did drink from the Well and one who didn't, both Cullenmances. And two elves, one who did and one who didn't, both Solasmances. I don't even know where this story is taking me at this point, but I like it. The possibilities are just nuts.

 

I'm not really going to have four canons, but I've never been so unsure about which way to go. I'm not all that comfortable with any of my options, to be honest. I like the idea of the angst of a Cullenmance being bound to Solas, and of a Solasmance being bound after everything that went down. But I also like the idea of both of them being free of that, and whatever that might mean.

Thank you  I wanted to show them fall in love after Perseverance.  It's such an appropriate song for their relationship, IMO.

Computer is behaving, so finally started up the game for a second time. Meet Aliss Cadash:

 

No-nonsense carta gangster badass. 

 

I was going for freckles, hence the pale skin. But apparently picked the wrong complexion >.>

 

Toss up between Blackwall and Sera. Aliss was always destined for Sera, but then the game shipped, and I'm undecided. Would like to create a qunari for Sera, but... need better hair. So until then, Aliss might fancy Blackwall instead.

 

Connor and Kieran alive in this playthrough, so that should be interesting.

 

Thought about starting Kael Lavellan, but already romanced Bull and don't want to do it again, and really like the thought of him with Solas, so... need mods

 

Miss Auren already Can't wait to play him again with proper Adela-hair and proper templar boyfriend!

Actually... People keep saying "kids today that playing video games are losing creativity" things like that. My parents keep throwing that lines to me anyway.

 

The thing is, even in this forum only, how many people actually do creative stuffs after playing video games? Some spend as much as times writing, making video, drawing & make artworks than playing the game itself... If not more.

Yeah. I don't agree. We introduced my little sis to gaming and she's in programming...Plays musics (multiple instruments, all self taught). I think it becomes dangerous if you become a recluse because of it.

I just use Windows Live Movie Maker.  I didn't start making videos until after I played DA: I.  The program is really user friendly and easy to learn how to use, actually

Actually, mine romanced and kept Zevran, hardened Alistair and convinced him that a political marriage would give him breathing room while she taught him the intricacies of surviving the nobility (she was a rogue, and I assume her family trained her almost from birth to manipulate the court, etc.) Having a wife who is adept and known to be very deadly, including with poison, would give Alistair the breathing room to find a wife he actually liked and could trust before they started pressuring him about an heir, and she could go her way with Zevran at that point. Or if he fell in love with someone the court wouldn't accept, let Zevran father a child. With Alistair having the, um, option to join her and Zevran   (she's my hedonist queen, but good hearted.)

 

How would that work? Have we ever heard anything about dissolving marriages in Thedas?

Yeah! Both get fun conversations with Blackwall and Sera. Sera will comment on you being a dwarf. And short. And adorable. She's much easier to flirt with as a dwarf than as an elf, but her first comments on Reska being short made me roll my eyes. Really, I didn't notice when I needed a step stool to get into chairs at Haven...

 

Blackwall gets into some discussions on the Carta background.

My oldest daughter said her best preparation for learning to work in things like ArcGIS (creating lovely maps, among other things) were the computer games that allowed her to go in and redesign things, like a Star Trek ship builder.

I wish I could romance Cullen with a Qunari....I mean I get why, but I really wanna play a female Qunari and really don't like any of the other romance options for the females. Ugh, guess I will need to have a war focused woman who doesn't need love while saving the world...

 

In other news, or at least to me, I have some new Cullen art I will be scanning to upload soon. I am thinking of starting a Tumblr account to put all my Cullen obsession art work and writings on.

They've encouraged, not to say often given me, a lot of my games, but I started them on gaming as kids (I worked in a game store for a while when they were very small.)

 

Yes, I remember gameplay footage when I think someone fadestepped a character off a bridge, I've been a little cautious about its use since 

 

Wow, my parents wouldn't even let me have a Nintendo. My first "gaming" experience was when I started dating my ex and he had a Playstation...with FFVIII. Then I played FFVII on my own. When the PS2 came out I purchased that with my own money and so on. I didn't get into PC gaming til about 4 years ago. 

 

To this day my parents still don't understand why I play games. But they can't say anything. Really, the only things I have in common with my mother are a love for animals, vintage perfumes, and muscle cars...

She hates my female elves too, and one of them isn't that "elfy." Though I notice she really approves when I flirt with Harding. Who has become my solution for not having a romance option I can stand for Zhenya. I'm just going to take all the Harding flirts, down to the "meet me for a drink in the tavern" end (which never happens in game, but oh well). Maybe if they're tracking how many people who flirt with her, we can get her as a companion/LI in the future.

I'd love to try making a movie...I just haven't found any songs that fit yet that really speak to me. Based on the vids I've posted you can guess that my musical tastes are more...aggressive...
