Cullen is silly....oh and a workaholic....
*snip*
Heh, I like choosing that one. Though, I'm also fond of the more direct:
Quizzy: "You have me all alone here."
Cullen: "The thought did cross my mind."

Did anyone else find that lake kind of creepy? It reminds me of The Fallow Mire.
I thought the lake suited Cullen's character quite well, actually. It has a somber atmosphere, but is also quite calm and serene at the same time.
Just to make sure: are you referring to Perseverance? Cause if you are, I kissed him first and then had Perserance. I dunno if the dialogue is different, but I felt that when we had the discussion, it was more intimate. Perhaps it's my imagination.
I mean the discussion you have with him where he tells you that he has stopped with lyrium. If you don't know about it, the dialogue with Cassandra (at least one option) would become weird after she and Cullen argue, won't it?
I don't remember if I had this discussion and then kiss, but I (while locked in romance) definitely was greeted with Cassandra and Cullen arguing and him tossing that box at the door right after I got out of the Fade.
IQ (just as she opens the door): "I gots my memories back and Fade is weird!"
Stuff go crashing
IQ: Ooook, nvm, not important. Lets deal with this first.
It really had "while you were gone" quality in storytelling, because Solas was also having his tea crisis and I think Sera also needed things to be done.

It isn't as bad as where Solas takes Lavellan in his romance scene. The first thing he'll tell her is that the veil is thin there. You can actually find that glade in Crestwood and there's a pile of bones off on the side, too. Spooky stuff.
After I saw this, the image of Dorian say "I want to bang that man like a door in a hurricane" stuck in my head for weeks for some reason...
At this point, I'm like, yeah, I'll have four canons. Two humans, one who did drink from the Well and one who didn't, both Cullenmances. And two elves, one who did and one who didn't, both Solasmances. I don't even know where this story is taking me at this point, but I like it. The possibilities are just nuts.
I'm not really going to have four canons, but I've never been so unsure about which way to go. I'm not all that comfortable with any of my options, to be honest. I like the idea of the angst of a Cullenmance being bound to Solas, and of a Solasmance being bound after everything that went down. But I also like the idea of both of them being free of that, and whatever that might mean.
I'm pretty settled on my canon from the start this time, ...fortunately, I think? I've tinkered with all the races and classes at this point, and while they were all super fun to play for different reasons, I could only really "buy" my human noble in the role of the Inquisitor (as far as the stuff that interests me, at least, the politics, influence games, the alliances and such). Solas does nothing for me and the less I say about his romance the better, and of the other romances I've tried I really really liked Blackwall's and Sera's, but neither of them feel like canon material for my Quizz, they don't have that same power as "the Commander of the Inquisition and the Herald of Andraste," as it were, so that was an easy choice. Really, if I didn't love Cullen to pieces already, that scene when the Commander of the Inquisition's forces holds the Inquisitor in front of their troops after the fateful battle where they defeated the big bad stamped a big golden seal of CANON on their relationship for me.
The rest (Templars, Wardens, bye Loghain etc) are also pretty solid choices for me - the well is really the only major choice I haven't settled on yet. I have to see the scene with Flemeth play out without Kieran as that's my real canon, but so far I'm leaning towards having my IQ do it - the potential for development for both her and Cullen is sounding better and better the more I think about it... but yeah, then there's that part of me that really wants to drag Cullen away from all the magicky stuff and give him peace of mind at last, free from worrying about magic this and magic that for the rest of his life. While I like the effect it has on her from a storytelling perspective, I don't know if I want Ari to drag Cullen back down into it with this Mythal stuff when he's in such a comfortable place otherwise. It's such a hard choice. I don't think I'll have a definitive answer on this until if/when we get answers about Morrigan, in any case, so I should probably not hinge my canon too much on this choice in case I have to change it later.
Let me know how your canon is coming along as you go, we need to compare notes at the end and see if we end up being same person again. ![]()
Just a quick little ot question.
Has anyone conscripted the mages in Redcliffe? I am just about to start in hushed whispers and I want to try it this time round with my dalish warrior and was wondering how bad it is. Am I going to be crying about how cruel I am and reloading instantly, or is it not so bad?

If you're very into mage freedom and stuff, you may not like it. Nothing of substance goes too differently, just Leliana will chew you out for abusing the poor mistreated mages blah blah blah, and Fiona will be less friendly and more business at Skyhold. Otherwise, everything goes the same. It's not really that bad, but it does feel more justified if you actually believe the mages were wrong to invade Redcliffe, ally with Tevinter, etc. In any case, you can always abstract that it's not you making the choice but your character, if it bothers you too much.

Ahh ok, that helps, thanks
I don't mind them having to be kept in check, with all that's been going on and what they ended up doing at Redcliffe, desperate but dangerous. It's probably safer all round. I just didn't like the take you as prisoners line, it sounds pretty hard that way and thought it might turn my inquisition tyrannical.

Drink from the well. Think of the possibilities.
Like Flemmeth being able to survive through her connection to your inquisitor, allowing her to bodysurf her, thereby giving her a chance to get in on the action with Cullen. ![]()

Ok , now I regret drinking from the well...no one shares my man!
(well, except you lot, I don't mind sharing with you lol)

LOL I'm not sure I want Flemeth getting a share of my man. He's mine, you old hag! No touchy! ![]()
But I do like the possibility that maybe drinking from the well makes Flemeth pass Mythal on my IQ, rather than Morrigan. Interesting.

Ya inquisitors are all greedy! No sympathy for an old woman like Flemeth? ![]()
Beside, if your inquisitor drank from the well then Flemeth won't have to ask. She'll get her share, whether your inquisitor likes it or not! ![]()

I do like the idea that if the inquisitor drank from the well, they can end up being completely dominated by Flemeth with her in the end taking full control. If Celene was murdered and the inquisitor was generally ruthless it would make Envy's vision have a certain dramatic irony to it.

Having the spirits of multiple entities inside your head and being called the Inquisitor... didn't I already play this already in SWTOR? (And I loved it) ![]()
The only bad side of that entire story was the fact I romanced Ashara and got freaky with her, while still carrying the ghost of her great-grandfather in my head. No wonder the guy was so determined to join the other Force-Ghosts in screwing with me...

Yes. You would deny that old hag some well earned R&R.

I'm sure there's plenty of Chasind men left for her to enjoy R&R

Or she can have Movran, I'm sure he would suffice and keep her busy for a while. Just need to bring him back from Tevinter lol

Why settle for them when she could have the commander of the inquisistion forces?
Also, since she would be puppeteering the inquisitor since her actual body is rather dead, you folks would rather have Cullen's heart be broken thinking the inquisitor left him for some filfthy chasind barbarian.
Interesting.
