Hey so I was wondering, do you guys remember when DG talked about how they had a scene in the game that all the men thought was fine but the women on the team pointed out it was uncomfortable? And DG realized that they shouldn't put it In And he was thrilled for the female input ? Do you think after the game releases if we ask he may tell us what it was? I'm just curious about it!

 

Was that for DA2 or DA:I? I'm not sure I want to know what it is. It kind of disturbed me that all the men in the room missed something that was obvious to all the women.

I see a bald guy, a guy that has a mustache, an older man, and a pretty muscular guy. I see people, not fetishes. Calling what some people find attractive to be "fetishes" is rather rude.

I think the main thing to keep in mind is it's all about tact when you make a preference comment and not having to feel defensive if someone disagrees with you. You are fine to find him unattractive because he's older. I think he's too hairy! (Sorry GW team but Kirrahe ain't into bears) so I get it. But if some said to me "I like hairy men because I am one!" Or "Hairy men are so hot! What are you talking about?" I wouldn't take it as an offense and I'd also be fine with the fact that they may not agree with me. This is a nice thread, we don't want to feel ganged up on and I get the impression that's how you feel. If it makes you feel better the physical appearance debate isn't new at all in here. We've had plenty of "He/she's unattractive /ugly!" And many people adamantly disagreeing or pointing out why they feel otherwise! The important thing to remember is we All think Cullen's Hot. (Well with a few exceptions ) and that some comments about a persons unattractiveness CAN be taken personally.

I've just started watching Veronica Mars, and I'm so ashamed to say I have a huge crush on Wallace and Troy.

 

Awww, frell no! I mean, I get closer in age to what I like best. For instance, I adore Joe Flanigan from Stargate Atlantis. Love the little crinkles in the corners of his eyes, the slight grey, etc. But seeing his younger self in stuff he has done? The smooth baby face is too weird. I have this reaction to most guys. I find them more attractive when they're older than 30 - but not too old! Now since I'm married, I can't cougar it up but if I reach 60 and STILL find 30-something attractive, well then, yes, I'd be a cougar. But I usually just go for guys that aren't still technically kids and who have their own interests. It's kind of one of the things that put me off Alistair after a couple romances. I did it for science. Even Zevran, who looks really young was more... aged. One thing I did like about Fenris was that his skin had pores and a little creasing around the mouth and eyes. Just a little. So... I like those kinds of details in a face. No empty cradles here. lol!

Jesus Christ there are some delicate little souls in this thread lately! Obviously I am attracted to one of those (GW) so it's not about who I am attracted to or who you are attracted to or who anyone is attracted to.

 

Obviously beauty is subjective. You aren't starting anything by pointing that out.

 

If you don't like the word "fetish" then fine. But the men in the line-up are not traditionally attractive. See the example I gave. (And not every man in the line-up of examples of "traditionally attractive" is considered attractive to me.)

RE: Cullen's Mole or Scar - Mmm, I prefer a scar because scars can be hot also suits a warrior. When I think of moles I think of overgrown bits of dark flesh sprouting hair what Cullen had is what I would call a beauty mark or a Lunar in Spanish, which can be attractive/distinctive. I have a Marilyn Monroe-esq lunar myself and I've always been fond of it
