That'S what is was!!! Ugh. Solas was ALWAYS dispelling. I just stopped taking him on quests.
You can disable dispell in the tactics screen.

For the record, if a follower keeps using an annoying ability you don't want them to, you can always go into their Tactics panel and set that ability to Disabled. They won't use it anymore unless you manually trigger it. Or remove it from the slot bar if you never ever want them to use it.
I had to do this with Dispel on all three mages, because they kept using it when it wasn't needed, and then when I actually needed them to dispel rift spawn points, the ability was always on cooldown. Set it to Disabled so they never use it on their own, and it's always available when I need it.
"Fixed issue that allowed players to exploit their gold value in single-player mode."
Pffft. I wonder if I can still use cheat engine for infinite gold. I'm not sure how I feel about them fixing that if I can't.
No battle nug for me, if that's the case! ![]()

And that is why I completely deactivated Dispel in the tactics screen. That way, he never used it without me wanting him to. Same thing for having two mages with Barrier in my party - one has it set to "preferred" the other one has it disabled. That way, the party should be covered pretty well most of the time ![]()
Nice to see that they removed some AI shenanigans ![]()
I just played Origins again recently and every ****** time, they would start talking just as I approached an NPC or entered a building, so it would get cut off. I'm sure I've missed 70% of the banter on that game too. Every. Time.
Yep. Been there, done that. I feel your pain ![]()

I know, but...I leave the default tactics on.I don't like to bother much,,,
.It's just with everyone else, the combo worked: ice and smash. He was just undoing everything and by the time my warrior get to the target, it's too late. I don't have the same issue wih Cass, Viv or Dorian.
Ok, thanks for the tips you guys. I guess I need to be less lazy about it. ![]()
As much as it bugs me in those convos, I'm going to miss Varric randomly squatting...
I was all ready to headcanon that he was just working out, after Bull's comment that he'd be far more difficult to throw than Sera, as well as to keep in shape for doing his Kermit the Frog routine whenever he has to Evade or do a Leaping Shot?
I`m out of likes. That is too funny.

Yeah, I hear you. I pretty much missed most of it.

I did this for Dorian. His necromancy skills would cause quests to not update til the spell wore off, which was like a min after combat ended...sooooo annoying!

Inspired by my randomly pausing and going into tac cam yesterday, only to realise as I was looking around that Varric was frozen in the foetal position mid-somersault, looking like he'd randomly fallen asleep in mid-air...
I had to reload in the end because I was too busy laughing to pay attention to the fight and got most of the party killed ![]()
Like permanently Elven? Or just in that scene?

Had to do this too. That necro ability is really useful when you're fighting large mobs, but it actually broke a quest for me when the mob boss had to drop an item on death but wouldn't die because of Dorian's hex. It had to go after that.

Yeah it used to bother me a lot too until I discovered that you can actually end it by activating the spell again, hence killing the spirit. It's a switch on/off kind of spell.

Nooo, it was just in that scene, while she's channeling Mythal, or using Mythal's power, or... whatever she was doing there. Went back to normal afterwards.
Would've been hilarious if it had turned her permanently elven, though. lol Sera would've hated it.

Speaking of random elven ears imagery, does anyone else wonder about those weird little pointed "ears" on the Tevinter robes? I'm starting to wonder if they were originally done in imitation of the Ancient Elves, since we know that Tevinter frequently stole from were inspired by them when it came to matters of magic, culture and the slave trade?
Doubt they'd have copied their style of dress. Magical advancements yes, slave trade and culture not so much.Speaking of random elven ears imagery, does anyone else wonder about those weird little pointed "ears" on the Tevinter robes? So, this soldier was messing around with one of Cullen's doors:Same creepy soldier from last night?:
That soldier from the second picture looks a little bit like the old default FemShep... in disguise maybe? ![]()

ummm quick question... would you guys think a hair like this would be practical/lore friendly or not really?
Spoiler
It's beautiful! Not really "built for combat," but I'd love to see it in-game! I would use it on a mage any time!

YES, PLEASE. All I want for my Quizz is a side braid like that. *__*

I don't see why not, it's a practical side braid but it's got a little messy in combat. Works for me! In fact, that's the kind of hairstyle I was hoping for in-game.
Well... Sorry to lower the average of fanart quality usually posted on this thread ![]()
I got some watercolour pencils laying around so...
