I think Cullen's nose (especially the tip and nostrils) are so well designed, that I can't stop staring at it. Creepy... but... that nose! ;)

EVERYTHING about his face was so well designed - it's quite remarkable.  He's really the most attractive and realistic looking character in a game I've ever seen, when combined with the animations and the voice acting.

He's one of the characters whose facial expressions got the largest palette. It goes from happy, sad, flirtatious smile, smirk, angry, desperate, etc. The only thing missing is tears.

Anyway... I just think... Since many people here are well versed in Cullen... Can we call the science Cullentology? Or Cullenology?

It seems it is more like a cult rather than science ;)

Yeah everyone else is kind of wooden in comparison, I just wonder why they decided to give him that range over other characters especially since his romance was tacked on.

I've seen Culleningus - ew, I know!  I like Cullentology.

By the way, this is what I'm currently swooning over, especially the final panel.

The only way to play dragon age inquisition wrong is by being anything but a warrior. ;) And champion spec.

Lol. Then I guess that I am doing it wrong. I always play mages! I managed to end up as a double-wielder/archer in Skyrim though. Started as a mage, didn't like it as much.

I like Cullenology. lol. But yeah, definitely more like a cult lol.

The screenshots from MelissaGT are...so life like. The pores, the little hairs on his chin. It's incredible. I did get tired of the "foolish" lines though. "It seems too much to ask". A couple of times, it was okay, but after a while, I was like "ugh, cheesy". Again, that is just me though. I`m sure many love it.

Everyone else looks great, don't get me wrong, but they look like really well designed video game characters.  Cullen looks like a well-designed real-life human.  Honestly I think that's a huge part of my fascination with him, it's from a technical admiration standpoint as well as a mushy romantic standpoint.  I saw someone say that he's just another boring white dude in a game, I was like "whut"?

Funny, I play sword and board there too. Well, axe and board. Best survivability, and I love knocking people down.

As for this game, I would be a mage, but it just makes a lot of the bossfights kinda dull. I tried getting a friend to start killing dragons and she said it was like watching paint dry... I was lost for words until I remembered she was a mage... You gotta get in its face! Rip it limb from ****** limb!

Bathe in her blood and laugh as she cries in agony! Biting down on your shield in vain as you bring her ancient life to a well overdue end!

KIIILLLLL!!

Oh man, I'd kill to see some tears from him... so long as it isn't due to my protagonist being forcibly killed off.  <_<

It's debatable but he looked near tears when she came back after beating Cory.  And you know if he was really upset he'd be punchin' stuff, angry tears.

Passion! lol. I think it's mostly because I hadn't seen a difference (or much of) a difference between rogues and warriors in DA:O. As such, I swtiched to mage and never really looked back, I may try a warrior on a second PT with a human.

Playing as a mage is more fun IMO from a story standpoint, but battle wise I think I had slightly more fun as a 2H warrior.  Surprisingly I didn't get tired of spamming whirling blades especially when I started adding more guard.  Although I have to say it's pretty damn satisfying to unleash Static Cage.  I also found myself as a mage when battling dragons controlling a melee character.

Static cage is awesome. I love to lock them in and let the rest of the party pick them apart.

Ha, static cage is even more fun when you're a warrior and comboing it with another mage and your chain pull ;) Set it up and either pull them into it or try pulling them out and paralyze them for ultimate lulz. Many lulz were had my first time doing that.

Or you know those despair demons? Always whining and bitching and flying away? If you ever try rift whatevering them with your mark and they fly away at the last second, pulling them back to you for an instant kill is one of the most satisfying things ever, lol. It's hilarious.

Varric's expressions not bad really IMO. Nearly about the same range as Cullen. Dorian too. But afterall, these three might be the most emotional characters? Cullen's surely emotional inside, he just interiorized everything IMO...

Guess that the only thing stopping us from having him crying is that BW didn't get the chance to make tears on the engine

I'd love to see him, or anyone else, cry in game tho... Not necessarily sobbing but just tears flowing with appropriate expressions...

Oh man, I should try MP - I haven't played it at all.

Yes, Varric has a lot of range too, you're right.  Dorian is a bit plastic at times, unfortunately, as much as I love him.  I'm thinking of one longish convo you have with him and his face doesn't change much despite his tone of voice.

Funny thing is I used to talk so much **** about that ability because it's like an mmo staple, but man... it's fun as hell, lol. So I don't give a damn.

Also, I love bulls charge. Too fast for mages.

(Insert random ass crazy mage here): "Muahahahahahaha! You'll never get past the extremely obvious glowing magic mines I placed on the ground in front of me! What ever shall you do, Inquisitah!!!"

Me: "Hmm, chain or charge, chain or charge...CHAAARRGE!"

(Soon to be dead generic mage): "Muahaha, you've activated my trap ca-" *splat*
