ummm quick question... would you guys think a hair like this would be practical/lore friendly or not really?
I would love you forever if you put braids into the game!
I'd love you even more for pigtails or even two braids.
Silly question that I'm sure has been asked and answered, but what's the timeline supposed to be from the start to end of Inquisition? A year? I just got to Dagna in DAO where she says it takes 2 weeks and 4 days to get from the circle to orzammar, and that's like an iddy bitty west side corner of fereleden.
I'm sure it varies depending on what quests you do, but how long do you suppose it takes to get to the hissing wastes from skyhold? Just trying to make a fan fic work logically
Maybe I'll just travel ala eluvian
Gaider just answered this on his tumblr the other day, and the official answer so far is "we don't know." Since it depends largely on how much time you spend exploring the various open regions and doing side quests, your personal timeline could be anything from a couple months to over a year or more.
Ask R2s, she got all calculator of distances & travel time in Thedas.
Hmmm on my (very bad) imagination, all the inquisition --> around a year or two? Warden needs 1 year for DA:O. Maybe Inquisition (more content) is like 2 years?
Yes, DG confirmed that there's no official timeline on the game (also that they *should* have one! on which I concur!).
As far as guessing for fanfic, like someone else mentioned, there are references to having known the Inquisitor for "a few months" suggesting the game itself is probably on the shortish side compared to the other games. For example, during DA:O it's already mentioned that you've been gone from the Circle Tower for a year. Also, when you're sent a year into the future in Redcliffe, all of Corypheus's plans are concluded. So my guess is that the game is probably less than a year.
As far as "real world" distances, they just simply aren't taken into account in gameplay. It takes over a week to get across the whole the Ferelden on horseback, and longer with bad weather. Less by ship. I have a number of references for figuring things like that out. Let me know if you want them.
