Hey so I was wondering, do you guys remember when DG talked about how they had a scene in the game that all the men thought was fine but the women on the team pointed out it was uncomfortable? And DG realized that they shouldn't put it In And he was thrilled for the female input ? Do you think after the game releases if we ask he may tell us what it was? I'm just curious about it!

I doubt it. If it was sensitive, doesn't make sense that they'd want to put it out there. Things like that take on a life of their own. Esp with this fandom.

I think he was being cheeky, referring to the massive amount of info we've gotten via the new gameplay trailer, website, etc. My guess is because of that, and PAX we wont be getting any follower information this friday, and that they've abandoned the concept in favor of putting out that trailer.

I think he was being cheeky, referring to the massive amount of info we've gotten via the new gameplay trailer, website, etc. My guess is because of that, and PAX we wont be getting any follower information this friday, and that they've abandoned the concept in favor of putting out that trailer. 

 

This is my guess, too. They are just horrible at communicating these things to their fans. The dev diaries, and now FF.

In the DAO DLC where you can play as the dark spawn instead of the heroic group as per the regular game (I've blanked on the damned name, Gah) Alistair is the sole GW alive and a codex on him alludes to him and Leliana hooking up. The hussy! I never could play that DLC myself I'm too softhearted. But my husband played it and loved it. He'd yell out mocking phrases to me "I'm totally slaughtering Wynne now!!!" "Hey, Zevran was kinda tricky but, oh look, now he's dead!" "Alistair falls like a total wuss... Your pixilated crush was a wuss, baby!"

Jesus Christ there are some delicate little souls in this thread lately! Obviously I am attracted to one of those (GW) so it's not about who I am attracted to or who you are attracted to or who anyone is attracted to.

 

Obviously beauty is subjective. You aren't starting anything by pointing that out.

 

If you don't like the word "fetish" then fine. But the men in the line-up are not traditionally attractive. See the example I gave. (And not every man in the line-up of examples of "traditionally attractive" is considered attractive to me.)

 

People, please just relax and try not to be constantly offended by stuff. It's just a character discussion thread; we're all having fun

Well in his defense, getting prodded for more info after giving so much info already is rude also. It's pretty much telling him and the other devs that what they've shown us isn't good enough. I know we all want to know about the companions and other aspects of the game, but with so much hate being tossed at the devs on a daily basis, I don't blame David Gaider for being a bit of a smartass

         It's not judgment. Ugh, this obviously too complex too discuss. I wasn't judging anyone though. I don't know how to explain in simpler terms what I meant. Just know that I wasn't insulting anyone or telling anyone how to think, feel, or believe. I have never done that in the history of this thread, so I'm not sure why anyone would think I'm starting that now. *shakes head*
