Oh so did they officially say that there wouldn't be one today or are we going off of the DG tweet?

I'm not mad at all either; few things about Dragon Age make me mad I'm just surprised how things are run sometimes. I guess it is a small company.

I don't mind there not being a character release today. I don't even mind DG being a giant ass because he's always a giant ass. But it's sort of like going into work at 6 am for this big mandatory meeting and getting there, setting everything up, and in an hour someone comes to tell you it's been rescheduled.  At least call me while I'm in bed so I don't have to get out of it and put a bra on, you know?

 

Haha, this reminds me of all those times when I drove the one hour commute to class, only to get there and see that class had been cancelled.

Some advance notice is always appreciated.

Nothing official. It is actually still Friday in Edmonton, you know. A day isn't twelve hours long there.

Well we've got:

 

1. Bald/hairless fetish

2. pencil mustache fetish

3. old man fetish

4. steroid guy fetish

 

I see your point but I don't think those characters were created with romance/sexual fetishes in mind, at least not primarily ;].

For me their unique looks link to their stories. You have a battered veteran, more or less typical qunari, we don't know why Solas is bald, still it feels like some sort of statement. And the mustache guy seems quite flamboyant in the concept art, so his facial hair very much works with his personality. I guess the reason why you might see them in this particular way (as a collection of fetishes) is because you prioritize the romance. Just an observation, not a criticism I kinda like our group of misfits such as they are but I will agree with you that they are not your typical game characters in the looks department.

         It's not judgment. Ugh, this obviously too complex too discuss. I wasn't judging anyone though. I don't know how to explain in simpler terms what I meant. Just know that I wasn't insulting anyone or telling anyone how to think, feel, or believe. I have never done that in the history of this thread, so I'm not sure why anyone would think I'm starting that now. *shakes head*

I blame the Internetz, sometimes it is hard to express yourself without accidentally stepping on someones toe. For what it's worth I did not take it as judgement but I defer to R2 in defusing potential situation, since she's got more experience in this forum :]

Phew, things got a little heated while I was out. At least it's all calm now.

 

I agree that the follower friday is kind of unncessary today. I mean, we pretty much saw all of the "followers" at the end of the trailer, though we don't get bios, at least we still saw them all. Sure it would have been nice to know, but I'm not mad. I understand that there's probably a lot going on right now seeing as how they just released a BIG trailer.

 

Edit: Oops! I guess we do know now. Ninja'd.
