I love Cullen. I had my male inquisitor flirt with him but only go turned down (in a blaze of glory). It was worth it.

The eyebrow mod changes the NPC's eyebrows too.  Roderick had his eyebrows waxed, LOL

I wouldn't necessarily say that, but otherwise, yes, I definitely agree.

Just generalizing off the majority of players who play female PCs... but indeed, he has the added burden of being a lightning rod character independent of his romance as well. He gets it from all sides.

It's totally worth it.  My Lavellan looks fierce with these eyebrows.  Dayum.  Cullen better watch out.

 

 

 

 

Did you use just her eyebrows or both the brows and the texture? If you used the texture, do you know which one it replaces?

I used both the eyebrows and the complexion texture.  IIRC it replaced complexion #1

Oh, and more good news for those are dirty cheaters like me.  If you use Cheat Engine to dupe gold coins and materials, you still can after the patch.  My new level 3 character is sitting on 10 million gold coins.

Was perusing Nexus for the latest mods and ran across a few I hadn't seen. Out of curiosity, do any of you wonder people use the Cleaner Cullen mod? Just wondering if it was ok, or if it actually takes away from his overall hawtness...

I noticed a bit of improvement last night, had those two with Cass in my party at the storm coast and was getting quite a bit of banter between them.. dunno if it's gonna lead to relationship stuff but they were definitely hitting it off nicely .

Oh good! I just hopped onto the party banter thread and no one can definitively say it's been fixed. I also never realized that Cullen had a messenger til I saw the yt vid! I've left the western approach alone cuz it's so empty and I want it to work but I am sooooo overleveled now it's cake! And hissing wastes will still kick my ass Ah well.

My next role is for a two handed elf warrior, was gonna do travelyan again but I think I want to romance solas a bit before stealing cullen. I think I've read here its possible, so here I come!!

I'd half-suspect they ripped the idea off from Buffy, which had the Gem of Amara, a legendary ring that made the wearer immune to daylight and stakings. Buffy did it better though, as that ring was the only one of it's kind in existence and it ended up being (possibly) destroyed during it's second appearance over on Angel.

 

(And how do I remember the name of an obscure artefact that appeared in two episodes of Buffy/Angel that I saw over a decade ago, yet I can never remember what it was that I originally was planning on doing, by the time I walk down the stairs?)

 

I'm not defending the Vampire Diaries show at all, cause I tried to watch it and it just made me sad LOL. But I was addicted to the books when I was in high school and they first came out (ack, showing my age again!) and in the books vamps could go out in daylight if they wore jewelry with Lapis Lazuli in it. So that bit comfortably predates Buffy

Thanks, I'll try it out then. My other texture mod uses complexion #3, which is what most of my girls use. I just don't want to undo what I already did for my other characters.

Yeah I saw this and didn't care for the screenshots. I'm sure he looks like a dandy, but I couldn't use it because he's not a dandy! He's been through hell and back and clean doesn't seem to fit him. He can focus his attention on his fabulous hair and cologne as far as I'm concerned, scruff stays

Hmm personally I don't use cheat mods like that, I find because everything is right there and so easy I lose interest in a large portion of the game or the game completely... takes Sims for example, with no drive to earn money, I lose interest in playing very quickly and quit the game soon after release.

 

But that's me & my experience, I don't mind or care if others like to use it

I didn't use cheats my first playthrough.  Now it's super fun to run around with millions of gold coins and (eventually) full dragon armor for everyone.  Bwahahaha.  It adds to the experience for me

Agreed! Just saw the pics and he's got the shave & style of DA2 but I think for DAI the scruffiness suits his character far better. I mean he's in charge now, not in the Order where you probably have to be fairly neat & like the army with certain types of styles to press you shirt or pants etc

I could see peoples attraction to having him similar to DA2 though

Yeah, I agree. It didn't do anything for me either.

I'm only working through my 2nd PT switching from Dalish & Trevelyan mage romancing Solas & Cullen.

I'm also one of those types that prefers not to mod the game as well and just run vanilla, for me it takes a little away from the experience (we're opposites )

That being said, in a few months I might say F it, and download crap load of mods and use the gold cheat (if it still be working)

IMO, scruffy Cullen is orders of magnitude hawter

Oh back on the Roderick eyebrows thing, I was just playing the scene where Cullen breaks up the mage & templar & then Roderick comes up.

I looked at his eyebrows and thought "yep, that mods def an improvement from that" lol

But on a similar topic of Cullen mods, have any of you played DAO and DA2 since this came out? Some modders tried to redesign cullen based on DAI but I can't seem to find anything good! I think it's a good idea to help with the emersion and look at that purtty mug again. Anyone have recommendations? It just takes so much time to go through them all, dl it and then hate it and browse again!

That's not as bad as what I did. I pushed through most of the books...got half way through the last book and said eff it, I don't care about these people! So many weeks wasted...I think my brain numbed...our cullen is absolutely no competition...nooooo waaaaay. Could never understand what those fans see?!?!?!

 

I don't get it either. There are far better vampire books out there.
