Ugh. He does. As chronic a restarter I am and as many times I've played through the prologue, I cringe every time I get to that point. I'm more than a little surprised no one corrected that VA.

Oh back on the Roderick eyebrows thing, I was just playing the scene where Cullen breaks up the mage & templar & then Roderick comes up.

I looked at his eyebrows and thought "yep, that mods def an improvement from that" lol

 

For sure! His brows before were deserving of their own zip code!

I must admit with all the times I've restarted trying to tweak CC, I just hit XXXXXX like a madwoman skipping stuff.

yeah... and the shots Melissa's been taking with that high def and fly cam.. *fans self*  I think I'm gonna stay with the scruff. Who cares if his nose is a li'l red and he has a smexy "I'm sorry, it's the Inquisition and I haven't had time for a shave" look?

I don't get it either. There are far better vampire books out there. 

 

The Black Dagger Brotherhood series.. I cannot read any other vampire books after reading these. The way J R Ward portrays vamps in this series.. it's good sexy smutty stuff.

Hey, not everybody has perfectly flawless skin either! I love the realism in his skin texture. And yes, I totally can't get over how much I love his "scruff."

Hi everyone, I have a favour to ask...

 

As you might know already, I'm currently learning to draw by myself. I don't have anyone who can give me any feedback I severely needed to improve. Personally I find it hard to see what's wrong (I know that something's always wrong in my doodles) since I'm so "inside the box", and more than often other people can point it in less than 5 seconds. 

 

Do you mind if I send a few of my attempts of drawing Cullen either here or by PM & give me feedback...? Any kind of feedback is welcome. (I don't need only people saying nice things really, I need to improve), and I appreciate harsh critics too.  TBH I don't really dare to put it in Deviant Art since most doodles are not the same level with most people. I made are sketches only on used old papers since for the time being.

 

It's just that usually anything posted in this thread & anywhere else are super good quality so...

Right!? I think that is what makes him soooo appealing. It looks real, much to our dismay, but I would rather the Melissa shots...Melissa: keep them coming.

Hey, not everybody has perfectly flawless skin either! I love the realism in his skin texture. And yes, I totally can't get over how much I love his "scruff." 

 

It's just incredible, really. I've said it before, but everything from the broken capillaries, to the pores and the lighter hair in his beard. He doesn't need cleaner. He needs better hair (IMO). **blood pressure** rising.

Yeah I saw this and didn't care for the screenshots. I'm sure he looks like a dandy, but I couldn't use it because he's not a dandy! He's been through hell and back and clean doesn't seem to fit him. He can focus his attention on his fabulous hair and cologne as far as I'm concerned, scruff stays

Yeah, was this mod created for people who wanted him to look more like the prior games?  I just don't get it, but to each his own.  Scruff scruff, gimme the scruff.

OMG I asked someone - Obvious Shining - on the Cass thread to make this Deal With It gif. I wonder if it's the same person that made the video?  They posted it on Tumblr also.  I love it so much.

I have such a love/hate relationship with that series. I've read up through book 8 and could go no further. I gobbled them up like candy through book 5 and then they just got...so...dragged...out. I've heard they get better again after book 10. It's been so long now that I would have to start over. I will someday. I really loved the relationship between Lan and Nynaeve. 

 

I also want to get through The Sword of Truth. I'm on book 3 there. 

 

And of course Mr. Martin needs to get book 6 out for A Song of Ice and Fire...I'm soooo antsy waiting for that one!

I would actually love to see a mod with his hair a bit more ruffled with slightly more curl. But not like DA2. And a casual clothes mod for him and Leliana.

And, to contribute to your daily recommended dose of Commander Cullen, I posted something on FF.net. It is an excerpt from my DA2 fanfic that has him doing some detective work. Thought you might enjoy seeing the Knight-Captain in action.

But on a similar topic of Cullen mods, have any of you played DAO and DA2 since this came out? Some modders tried to redesign cullen based on DAI but I can't seem to find anything good! I think it's a good idea to help with the emersion and look at that purtty mug again. Anyone have recommendations? It just takes so much time to go through them all, dl it and then hate it and browse again!

Is it on nexusmods? I love to creep on there even though I can't use them. I'd love to see a screen shot.

Ditto. The GOT series is pretty much the best books I've ever read. I tried getting into Malazan Book of the Fallen and I couldn't. I'd have to try again once I am done wiht WOT in 5 years...

 

How do you find Sword of Truth? I stopped after book 4-5 cause...I was just getting annoyed with Richard and Kaylan. I found that some elements are realllllly similar to those of WOT.
