From the Follower Friday thread and a David Hulegaard tweet, it seems that they aren't going to do anything for April after all. At least not on a Friday.

I see your point but I don't think those characters were created with romance/sexual fetishes in mind, at least not primarily ;].

For me their unique looks link to their stories. You have a battered veteran, more or less typical qunari, we don't know why Solas is bald, still it feels like some sort of statement. And the mustache guy seems quite flamboyant in the concept art, so his facial hair very much works with his personality. I guess the reason why you might see them in this particular way (as a collection of fetishes) is because you prioritize the romance. Just an observation, not a criticism I kinda like our group of misfits such as they are but I will agree with you that they are not your typical game characters in the looks department.

 

And I didn't say I didn't like them. And I didn't say their looks did not match their personalities.

Heh, late to the info as usual. So no Follower Friday at all? I liked the idea, but well... Hope they will still somehow manage to feature little tidbits of info on followers over the next few months.

I blame the Internetz, sometimes it is hard to express yourself without accidentally stepping on someones toe. For what it's worth I did not take it as judgement but I defer to R2 in defusing potential situation, since she's got more experience in this forum :]

 

It's just all quite ridiculous; I didn't start a "situation"; I never insulted anyone; I have no desire to start arguments or rile people up. I like everyone here; I'm friendly; I love talking about characters and Cullen in particular. And then I get fussed at.  The thread just feels very contentious of late. I say words like "fetish" and "ugly" and suddenly half the thread falls to the ground weeping and holding their still-beating hearts in their hands. And it's all, Artemis, how could you! So rude! I just... really? Come on

Ok, so, as a general idea? How about if something someone says really upsets you or rubs you the wrong way and you feel it needs to be addressed... Take it to PM. That way the thread isn't utterly derailed and people don't feel publicly admonished like a child or ganged up on.

They'll almost surely would. It was like that in the PAX demo.

I'm glad sustained abilities only show their effects in combat.
