I have to disagree, the eyebrows are distractingly bad.  The rest of the CC is fine and good eyebrows don't necessarily make you look like a supermodel.  I tend to make my characters look more "real" and I was having such a hard time with the limited choices.  I like a strong, straightish brow but not a brow that looks like a block of color.  I don't like the overplucked look at all and the really bushy ones don't fit my character. Having said all of that, I hated looking at the DA:O vids with mods where the Warden looked like a barbie doll or a manga character or where they completely changed Morrigan and Leliana's face.

 

I can't imagine wanting to remove Cass's scars, WTF?  

 

Liked for "nutcracker outfits".

 

How about the ones that ...and please, I apologize if it comes across wrong, but the ones that mod the character to be "more attractive", but completely change them. Like making Isabella pale and blonde or Vivienne white? It's like...really? To each their own, of course, but I find it sad at times.

I don't know why I haven't thought/noticed before, but the Inquisitor really moves from zero to sixty when she's flirting with Cullen, no? I just had the initial flirts yesterday - "did you take a vow of celibacy".  I mean, they JUST met!  

 

Oh, I laughed at this bit too. It was like 'hello, person I just met. do you ever bang?' . It's kinda legit though, not everyone wants a chaste relationship and I guess with his templar background you just want to be sure. Not that it's not super creepy of course.

 

 

edited to add - I wonder if you only get the early flirts if you chose to charge the mountain with him in the beginning?  Maybe he respects you more or something?

For sure. It's just, as you say it is offensive.. Bioware made an effort to include diversity and I love it. I mean, I had doubts about Krem, and after speaking to him...I was like, way to go Bioware. Well done.

She be pretty. Eyebrows are important. I can look pretty jacked up when I neglect mine...I don't like the super drawn on look though. Good nicely defined, but natural looking eye brows.

Are you referring to taking the pass? I have noooo idea when this happens, but I don't remember taking no pass.

As soon as I could talk to him in Haven, I had the flirt option. The first it the famous creepy smile bit.  Then I talked to him again right after and I had all of the options to ask him about his Templar background and the celibacy flirts.  I think I won't be able to flirt with him again until after Skyhold though, IIRC.  Hawke and Anders and the Warden is a bit different - here you've just been thrown into this loose organization and these people are kind of your superiors in a way.

Not sure if anyone responded with this yet (this thread moves so fast...) but LadyInsanity posted a flycam pic of Cullen after sexy times from behind and you can see that he does not have a tattoo there.

I couldn't remember if you could delay it and I didn't want to take the chance.  Also he's just standing RIGHT THERE.  And my character looks like me (I scrapped the last one and made a more accurate one) so I need to see me making out with Cullen stat.

Ditto. The GOT series is pretty much the best books I've ever read. I tried getting into Malazan Book of the Fallen and I couldn't. I'd have to try again once I am done wiht WOT in 5 years...

 

How do you find Sword of Truth? I stopped after book 4-5 cause...I was just getting annoyed with Richard and Kaylan. I found that some elements are realllllly similar to those of WOT.

 

Ok, so I'm going to put myself out on a limb here and admit that I am a very harsh judge of characters in books, particularly females. A lot of them annoy the ever-loving crap out of me. Maybe it's because I always got along better with men irl? I just can't stand some of the mind-game crap they play and the waffling that goes on in their heads. Kahlan is one of them...annoys me! But I do like Richard. I'm only on book 3 so I really don't have an opinion of the series overall. 

 

Female characters I like:

 

Nynaeve - WoT

Arya - ASOIAF

Brienne - ASOIAF

Morgana - Mists of Avalon

Katniss Everdeen - Hunger Games - this is debatable since she does some "waffling" over mens

Lessa - Dragonriders of Pern

 

 

And yes I can see how SoT is very similar to WoT
