What happened?
Just some people started complaining about console players being screwed and that cheat engine should be banned somehow lol.

How each people's playing their Single Player game is not other's problem no? Except if you cheat on DAMP, that's another thing ![]()
I was trying to be helpful in the feedback section by recommending Cheat Engine for those upset about the gold/material exploit being "fixed" in the latest patch. Bad, bad idea... I should have thought twice before suggesting something available to PC only.
Yeeeah, many console folks are feeling... hostile ![]()

Good grief - it's been that way ever since mods were invented for PC games. How is this anything new? Ya want mods? Get a PC. ![]()
How is it any of their business what someone does with a single-player game? Granted, it shouldn't be used in DAMP - hence the giant ban-hammer looming overhead if someone does.

Exactly. Err...what does DAMP stand for? ![]()
Nevermind:Dragon Age Multiplayer. Duh.
For the Malazan Book of the Fallen I had to be in a particular mood... It's very hard to follow, imho. But I did finish the series. When Dagna brought up that lyrium was more like an organism than a mineral (since it can get infected to become red), I immediately thought of Malazan. The way that the Warrens work there and the way that lyrium is being portrayed in DA:I is suspiciously close
Here's a tip for all of you trying to get started: flip your canvas frequently. This will give you a fresh view of your work, and will make it easy to detect errors. If you work digitally, it is easy. If you work in traditional media, use a mirror
Oh, I laughed at this bit too. It was like 'hello, person I just met. do you ever bang?'
. It's kinda legit though, not everyone wants a chaste relationship and I guess with his templar background you just want to be sure. Not that it's not super creepy of course.
So for you guys who make fan vids. Do you just record all your cutscenes and then keep them in case you want to use them as part of a vid? I really want to make one - of course I have to play through the character first in order to get the stuff I need.
YES I'm so glad to see someone bring up that similarity. It has been often on my mind. I cannot shake the feeling that lyrium is the blood of the world, or something like, and that conviction is largely Malazan-inspired. (Mind you, I do think there's something in it -- it's alive, it can get infected, the Deep Roads veins look surprisingly like blood veins, living things have some sort of weird connection to it..)
Oh my goodness, that is such a simple but brilliant tip! I hope it can help me deal with my facial symmetry issues.
My theory is that lyrium is the blood of the Maker
Far-fetched, I know ![]()
And, yes, it will make it very easy for you to detect asymmetry ![]()

Now I am doing that this current PT. For my past videos, I didn't record anything as I played and then ended up going back at saves I had before certain key moments and replaying them. That was a pain, lol. I need to find my external hard drive, though... where ever I put it... because this is going to take up a huge chunk of my memory o.O

love that tips. Thank you! (I'm listing it in a thread in the Group)
I haven't installed Halamshiral Finery but I've checked it out, and this is what the instructions say:
So, no Mod Manager.
I also see no harm in making my characters beautiful. To each their own, though.

I have a few spares:
My Norton 360 automagically backs up all my stuff every day in two places, as well as online with Carbonite. I lost all of my photography back in 2007 when my hard drive failed and I had no backup. I had to learn the hard way to backup. NEVER AGAIN!!! *shakes fist in air*
*edit* Good lord I just looked at my music files for ha-ha's since I back those up too and I have almost 7,000.... ![]()
Halamshiral Finery works fine with my non-english version... and with DAI Mod Manager. The "solution" was on the comments on Nexus (direct link to files), and it works:

Sweet, that's good to know. I may give it a try then. Is it compatible with other mods this way?

I think you'd have to create a new merged patch.

Oh, did they fix the material duping trick? I thought they only fixed the infinite influence bug. Oh well. I play PC, but I don't think I'll bother with the cheat engine. I never really ended up riding around on the giant nugs anyway. lol.
Compatible with HD Eyes retexture, and some brows posted in this thread (from Fontofnothing):

Would you be able to share where you got HD eyes?

I downloaded that one recently. I love modders (in a totally non creepy or stalker way, I promise)

I never did finish the series. It's been so long that I feel I'd have to start over just to keep all of the characters straight, and that would be quite an undertaking.

I just finished Malazan a couple of months ago, and I totally missed this symmetry!!
Ugh I hate myself for putting this image in my head. In the novel Kill Decision (a techno-thriller) there is a really sexy scene where the female lead shaves the male lead and it leads to sexy times. Now I have THAT image in my head for Cullen.
LOL I wrote something like that once, and Chenria illustrated it for me. It involves Hawke, tho.

Finally you start to look human again. by Chenria
From my story Trust... and kinda, sorta, eventually Fool's Errand.
