Maybe when you have missed the guy on the bus and you throw your book, you'll actually hit the guy you suppose to meet with your book instead?
That's would be funny, maybe painful but funny!
Lol, knowing my luck I would somehow knock a police officer on the back of his head...I would then be conflicted because I would want that book, but then I would get in quite the situation with the police guy. *balances book and police officer scolding....book raises* Eh it's worth it, lol.
I really need to stay in this thread man and try not adventure out to other threads lol
This thread is my safe haven from the rest of the boards, which are scary places ![]()

O_O Did something bad happen when you ventured into the unknown? So far I have done that and I have found some pretty nice places, lol.
Look at the iron bull Dorian thread lol huge fight lolO_O Did something bad happened when you ventured into the unknown? So far I have done that and I have found some pretty nice places, lol.

Stupid arguments and backpedaling. Nothing more.
Anyway.
Can anyone tell me how many extra conversations I'm missing with Cullen by siding with the templars? I have a mage save but (well it's on a male character). Does it add anything to the romance?
Guys sorry to be off subject but I'm afraid of being Solas ninjamanced. I just flirted with him where he says I am graceful, at what point are you locked in with him? If I play chess with Cullen and he asks me if I'd rather be spending more time with Solas, I might die.

If you kiss him in the fade dream I think that actually starts his romance after you confirm it with him afterwards and you can only break up with him during his romance scenes.

If you side with the templars you mainly miss out on Cullen's quest to find Samson. That adds extra cut scenes (several) and he follows you to fight at one location.

I took the first 2 flirts with Solas on my rogue Lavellan and she had no problem romancing Cullen ![]()
Just his personal quest

Yeah but is it more than that? Because Leliana's scenes with Calpernia are only about...3 (four if you include the dagna scene). And I don't want to slog through a mage game for 3 extra (short at that) conversations.

It doesn't add anything to the romance IIRC. Yeah I think you get three cutscenes with Cullen from the different phases of the quest. And then there are cutscenes at the end of the battle that he joins you on.
I don't mean to sound like a downer, but it'd be a good idea to not bring up issues from other threads into this one. It's been done in the past and has had rather undesirable results.
Ugh, I haven't gotten any banter since starting this game yesterday. I'm still in the Hinterlands, but that's not promising. PS4.

Oh there is also a Dagna scene with Cullen's quest.

Do you get background music? If you are missing the music, you might have the banter bug. Not sure whether it works on the PS4 as it does on PC, but going back to Skyhold, and quick travelling directly from the war room seems to remedy the problem.

Oh okay. So the only difference seems to be Leliana doesn't join in.

good to know.

D: that's not good. (That did happen to me once but then I got a whole bunch one after the other. Hopefully it's just backlogged).

I'd like this but I'm out
and you're not being a downer at all. You're being perfectly reasonable.

I'm getting sporadic music. I didn't have the bug on my last PT, although toward the end of my game it got really really sparse. I will try that next time.

It's open to interpretation as to if you'd find this quest-line value-added for how you see Cullen's character. I personally do, others don't. I like seeing the development he goes through during the quest and the extra insight into his personal fears of how things could have been different. And of course, you get a very nice flirt and a chance to fight with him as reward.

It definitely adds to his character, I just took the OP's question as technically how much content is added. I also forgot about the flirt option within the quest. Oh and he also joins you in judgement of Samson. I kept getting annoyed with him because I tried to watch him fight but he'd run off, then I had to focus on not dying.
Sorry it's not exactly related to Cullen, but can anyone confirm that Samson is a 2H Sword user? I'd really appreciate it. ;-; I haven't captured him in-game yet because I'm a slowpoke and I've been spending more of my time drawing Dragon Age than...actually playing Dragon Age. Oops.
All I can remember is that he showed up in Haven with just the one big sword and didn't look like he had a shield on his back.
