Montreal guys...the worse. I can't even take my dog out it's so cold. We have ice EVERYWHERE and crispy snow. It's like -17 celsius (1.5 F) probably colder because of the wind factor. I would take snow...
Lol.. Half of Montreal is underground because of the cold, right? I've only been there once, and it was summer
Lovely city
But I totally feel your pain. Calgary, man... Where it snows in July
At the end of August, we went rafting on the river - it was sunny, I got a sunburn. The very next day, it snowed ![]()

I love Einaudi!!! The whole Essential album is magnificent, Una Matina album too.
So, for all of you who write/draw/make something for the 5K, what's the music that'll represent your work? Or the one you listen while making it? I've seen Zarro's evervescent songs. Anyone else?
Let's put it all here as a teaser
I have a fan vid planned with that angry In This Moment song...alas it will be too long before I can finish it. I have to get enough footage for it first. Maybe for the 6k celebration. ![]()

I didn't know that you were a fellow Canuck! Hey girl, hey!!! I heard that Calgary could get pretty cold. I'd like to visit. BC too...Gosh, I haven't even been to Toronto.

I agree. I remember chewing my bf out at the beginning of our relationship: we were crossing the street and the light turned yellow. Well, not only did he let go of my hand, he gave it a good swing to make sure I let go and ran to the other side. While I was on the other end. You best believe that I let him know that it was unacceptable. He's learned since lol
Oh good, he's still your boyfriend! They can be taught!
My hubby has yet to do that for me. I think the most chivalrous thing he does is salt the driveway so I don't fall on my face when I go get the mail....

One of the times I fell was right in front of a hot guy. He glanced at me once and then went on his way like nothing happened. Meanwhile I was face-planted on the floor.
Lol, I remember a few years back in HS I was walking with my friends when a firedrill suddenly started so naturally we followed procedure. Except my crush*the one I talked about before* was walking further on down the hallway which got me a little distracted. Needless to say that when I turned a corner I got a door literally slammed into my face by a teacher who was shooing her students out into the hallway. Talk about embarrassing and painful.

Naturalized Canuck
And, yes, it can get pretty cold. But we're having a Chinook wind right now, I think, and it's fairly close to 0 C. Haven't been to BC yet, but AB is beautiful
Am looking forward to a trip to Vancouver in the summer, though. We're actually going to drive there, so we'll cross the Rockies
As for Toronto - I've done my undergrad and grad studies there. It's big, and busy, and has awesome restaurants
And concerts. Man, I miss the concerts...
Edit: Apropos Montreal... We went to an Italian restaurant downtown (can't remember the name) where we had the BEST lasagna ever
And, the maitre d' initially didn't want to give us a table. Unless I asked him in French... And I asked: "Pouvons nous avons une table sur le fenetre?" And we were given the table, and I was sooo proud of myself. Only to realize half-way through dinner that I asked for a table on the window.... I love French ![]()

Oh good, he's still your boyfriend! They can be taught!
I'm totally flabbergasted when my guy friends open the car door for me. I'm like..."where are you going, aren't you driving?...oh wait what?? woooow
My hubby has yet to do that for me. I think the most chivalrous thing he does is salt the driveway so I don't fall on my face when I go get the mail....
Awww. Lol...again, you guys are making me laugh
Yeah, they can be taught. Then again, he now calls me honey badger, vs just badger ![]()
In case you guys don't know what they are, this is the intro they have for a documentary on Netflix
"Honey badgers; Masters of Mayhem
Honey badger is bad a$$." This is one the most fearless animals in the world, renowned for its ability to confront grown lions, castrate charging buffalo, and shrug off the toxic defenses of stinging bees, scorpions, and snakes. Our film will follow a team of researchers in South Africa who are searching for the truth behind the honey badger."
How does that make me sound?!

Page 5000 is approaching. We'll hit 5000 in about 2 weeks.
** How are folks doing? We're burning through a lot of pages with totally OT chit chat. Are we on target? Should we slow down?
** If anyone needs an AO3 invite, I still have two left. PM me.
THE THEME
The theme that has emerged is "Thanks for the memories!" What does this mean? Whatever you want it to, so long as it's Culleny. Get inspired by memories, nostalgia, thanks for game, thoughts on the end of the game, thoughts on what happens after the game, favorite memory from the game, favorite memory from being a Cullen fan, looking back, looking forward, whatever.
WHAT TO CONTRIBUTE
Describe your fave memory from in game, or post a screenshot of it. Write a poem inspired by memories. Make a drink recipe that induces a black out of memories. Art, photomanip, fanfic, screenshot, text, banter, dialogue, drink recipe, limerick, fic, whatever. Go for it. All is good, so long as it's Culleny. Ask if you need suggestions for places to post fic or art, etc.
THE GROUND RULES
1. No jibber jab on Page 5000 itself. Only celebration posts. Wait til page 5001 to chat.
2. Take only one post for yourself. If you have multiple things, post them all in one post. There are only 25 slots a page.
3. When we get to the page, stop posting, reload to ensure you now the page you're on, wait for the go ahead.
4. If you won't be here, let me know, and I will have a placeholder for you.
5. NSFW stuff: This is OK, but only in a link to elsewhere and if tagged as such so that folks can choose whether to see it or not. Posting inside spoiler tags is not enough.
Let me know if you have questions on whatever.

Hey! You're still a Canuck! I haven't been to a concernt in a while..I think the last band I saw was the Neighbourhood. Not as interested as before. I use to work for Ticketmaster (Admission Ticket Network back then) and we had dibs on tickets...so I was pretty much going to shows every week. Sometimes, a couple of show a week. Good times indeed.

I can top that!
One year when I was a teen we went on a road trip to Salem, Massachusetts with the motorcycle club my parents were in. We were walking around with all these tough, tattooed, leathered-out biker dudes...and I was so distracted I promptly walked face-first into a parking meter! Yeah, it took a while to live that down...after I sunk into the pavement out of sheer embarrassment.

R2 is right. We should really try to keep the forum more Cullen focused, myself included. Let's try to cut down on some of the off topicness. Or if you do have something off topic maybe add something Culleny to your post just so we all remember what character made this forum possible

I really wanna see Imagine Dragons

I love Lindsey Stirling!
I'm totally planning to make a "what if Envy really did manage to change the IQ" vid...which we know there was some cut dialogue so this could end up being in-game with DLC down the road. And the song I'm going to use is this one. It is very angry...very awesome...think Fem!Rob Zombie. ![]()
If you listen to the lyrics you'll really see how it fits perfectly.

Or you could go back and find my owl meme. "I see" is pretty much what it said.
That song probably fits my story more so than the other one...or at least that song fits the final version of my story.
What do you think Ti? Would this be the perfect theme for the final version of my story?
Hmm, now I have to go back and listen to it, I just got in from work; haven't been able to do more than peek at the thread all day.
Ti helped me hammer out the final version of the story so...be prepared for surprises...MWAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Oooo, glad my suggestions helped a little! I really liked where you were going with that.

I have to admit. I prefer the amber eyes..The blue eyes I find, are less distinctive.
