I/my Warden was like "Guuuurl, go for it! Firstly I wanna live, I want Alistair to live... and he may as well get a little extra experience under his belt if he's planning on staying with me for life!"

But seriously though, it was a no brainer for me. Yeah, it sucked that he had to sleep with her but neither of them were keen on the idea, lol.

Aimo has a really great comic on that.

You can find it here.

I sacrificied Ashley both times, and I wasn't romancing Kaidan.  I just didn't like the character.  But that's getting off topic.

More Cullen with others - this is pretty effing good.http://www.deviantar...ntest-493004914

I still find it annoying that so many Li's for women have bad situations like that :? even DA:I has it with Blackwall leaving after sex or getting dumped by Solas

Really, I've read the thread about this and I'm one of the few that am happy with what we have been given. I have Alistair, Garrus, and Cullen. That's all I need.  ;)

I like to have some drama or else things can get b0ring.

PS - I like Blackwall's romance too.

Aw, that's too bad. I preferred reading his comments in more than 140 char bites. Maybe he'll come back to BSN... LOL yeeeaaaaah.

Man, I remember when the writers were so much more active here once upon a time.  :( It was cool to read anything they'd have to add about the characters they wrote, even if it was only just what their favorite color/drink would be. Or what food they'd be.

??? I interpreted the "I don't think you do" part of the "what if I get possessed" conversation as him saying he wouldn't be able to take her down. Which surprised me.

I was happy to see my tentative headcanon fragrance partially validated by this. But does anyone have a screenshot where it makes it clear that the artificer was talking about Cullen? The one I saw just says "he" with no antecedent, and I've never gotten that banter in-game.

In my interpretation he'll do that but with heavy heart. Or the "I don't think you do" as an indication that he might fail doing that. In my personal interpretation of Cullen's character, he's the guy who'll do what must be done. With heavy heart.

I still hope for Connor's DAO solution tho...

It wouldn't have been so bad if they had made the cut scene look really unpleasant - you know?  Or have it clear that Morrigan used magic to get him in the mood.  The way the cut scene played out he looked like he was sort of into it, and she was being all seductress like.  At least play it for laughs maybe?

He looked more terrified to me, LOL!

I love my tea. I drink way to much of it.  So I will have to try some.  :D

I need that Cullen Rutherford Tea....for science!

In all seriousness though, I think it's cool someone made some Tea Blends based on the Dragon Age characters, that's really cool!

(Good grief, how long has been since I've been on this thread, two months at least, maybe more?)

I heard about Mr. Gaider's tumblr blog coming down, which is very sad. He was one of the reasons I got an account in the first place. Still sticking around myself, but it will be said to see him go.

On the subject on Cullen, I still have yet to do Wicked Eyes and Wicked Hearts since I feel the quest looks rather intimidating. BUT, I really like the interactions a romanced Cullen can have with the Inquisitor during this quest, so I have a feeling it will be worth it in the end.

Black tea?

*snip*

Or I just fudge the ending in my headcanon one of two ways: Oghren's Joining in Awakenings gets moved up a few months and he can have at it; or my Warden and Alistair knock on Morrigan's door in the middle of the night and hand her a cup and a turkey baster. (Hope that is not too inappropriate for the thread.  I just...ugh.  It wouldn't have been so bad if male Wardens didn't then get the 'oh I can follow Morrigan and play happy families with her for awhile' option as well, just to rub salt in that wound.  But I guess it was my choice to pick Alistair as the romance and roll a female Warden, so that's just how it plays out.)

*snip*

Bahahaaa :D I would have loved to have that option :D

Hey guys still haven't got through all ur pages. I knew DAI was coming out but stayed away for stuff about it anyways this what I thought of at the end of that first part.

Cullen and Cass where standing outside the chantry looking at the massive green blue hole in the breech there was nothing to say as it keep growing larger. They turned as sounds of yelling went up to open the doors. It was his men returning from the breech it had been 2 days and they where know closer to figuring out what had happen. Cullen rubbed the back of his neck nervous habit since them days months in the tower. He shut the door on that memory before it get out. The men were carrying something or someone it looked like. They went to the cabin Jim had just layed him / her down couldn't tell. He watched as Cass lightly moved the hair out of her face.
Cullen gasp and almost kneeled over like someone had punched him, Cass looked up sharply asking what was wrong Cullen couldn't look her in the eye said something I ill be back in a moment. He heard Jim tellng Cass she fell out of the rift. Cullen leaned against the fence outside the gates after all these years. He thought it had been Andraste telling not to give up she going to need him. Know she was really the face that pulled him threw said she would need him to wait he could do it be strong, that saved him while he watched his brother lose their minds one by one. He had almost giving up with the green hole in the sky that she came tumbling out of. As he watched it he wonder after the tower and then Kirkwall he didn't how much more he could take but now there was a light come what may he would lay down his life for her..

I interpreted the same as Owfruit.  The IQ is like "I guess I know the answer to that, you'll strike me down eh?" and he's refuting that assumption.

I don't mean this in a negative way at all toward those who are into it, but I hope they don't get into the characters having children in the games.  It's a nice thought for an epilogue after the chaos but it's not the story I personally want to see play out.  But if I'm in the minority I'll deal.

You're not alone. I don't even need/want to see it in an epilogue slide. Kids just aren't everybody's cup of tea, and I don't see Bioware shoe-horning its players into it.

Heh, don't throw stones at me, but if my mage!Lavellan I just started has a child with Cullen that's a mage and he wants to send the child to the Circle... I can picture her leaving him in secret with the child to raise the child on her own.

Ooooh this will make a good story. Also, a Dalish quizzy might want to be back to her Clan with her kid if ever things like that happen no?

You know, that could make for a really interesting fanfic. Perhaps a one-shot that deals with Cullen eturning home from whatever event only to find that the inquisitor and their child is no longer there, and him in the end finding and reading the "Final goodbye" letter left behind.

Imagine the feels.

Cullen did mention to make a new system which is jailor/prisoner type like back in the Circle right? IIRC he proposed making healer's clinic, or something similar.

Correct me if I am wrong, but he does have a conco with the Quizzy about what he would be doing differently if they were to establish a Circle like institution. Perhaps it`s an indication of what they may have in line for his character.

This is why I said that we already have an indicator of what he would do in his responses to this question from the Inquisitor. He describes something much more relaxed that involves mages serving as healers and such, but still getting trained. He acknowledges that the Circles don't really work as they are. So, I could see him opting for something that fits closer to that ideal. Given that he's more of a rebel now, if the new system, whatever it is, doesn't suit his views, I could see him opt for home schooling or forging his own path somehow.

First, your quizzy's so pretty!

Then yeah... I can picture her doing that. I don't have a kid yet myself but if I was in her place & partner want to send kid away, if I have to choose partner or kid, it'll always be kid.

Thank you :)

I don't have any kids either, but I'd feel the same way.  A mage Lavellan at least would be able to train her child like Malcolm did, so I'd feel like that headcanon is less likely to end in disaster.  Well, I'd feel bad for Cullen... Oooh, this would make for a juicy story if it were told from both of their point of views.  I can imagine that Cullen would try his hardest to search for them, too.

I have to agree with you. It`s not something that I particularly want to have in the game. No offense to anyone. I don`t even like the fanfics about it... Again, no offense to anyone.

Everyone's got their own taste, I don't see what it would be offensive to have a preference. While I happen to like the idea of kids, I can see why some people wouldn't. As far as it actually happening in game, I doubt it would. I know some people have been hopeful. As far as I go, I'm fine with it either way.

I have a penchant for green myself, but I love good blend of strong black tea. Maybe Cullen's so black tea because he's... very British? I just get the hint that he's so British with all his name etc. Also, green tea's much softer & very delicate. Not like him.

Green tea is delicate. I can't picture Cullen drinking it. Both of the teas I got are black bases.

Interesting, I didn't see it like this. Hmm... So what do you think he'll do?

Someone needs to write this!!! I'll do it. I want to do it. But the thing is I need another Dalish inquisitor now. Since I already so inside my headcannon of my Dalish Mage's having one kid with him (no mage). I'll write this!

You're not alone. I don't even need/want to see it in an epilogue slide. Kids just aren't everybody's cup of tea, and I don't see Bioware shoe-horning its players into it.

Bwaahahaha at first I was thinking similarly. Then I need a narrator for a fic and there she goes, Cullen's daughter. Now I love her so much that she becomes my official headcannon

I had no problems with this. Ashley has forever been assigned to "nuke-sitting-duty" for me. She doesn't exist.  :D

Same for me, i always save Ashley from her future "sexy battle barbie" appearance in ME3 so Kaidan always survives

Too bad I'm more of a coffee person than tea. Channeling some serious Solas right now.

Does coffee even exist in Thedas? I'd like to think so. Companions getting coffee jitters (like Kaidan in Citadel) would please me greatly.
