LOL Thanks! Yeah, hard to beat actual snogging of course.  That's been the thing I've missed the most in my Solasmance. My Inquisitor needs more constant affirmation that he loves her.

 

And that is why I cannot bring myself to romance Solas. He's such an awesome character - intelligent, with a subtle sense of humour. But, I need me some lovin', soooo.... Helloooo, Cullen

LOL I know. *sigh* I think I'm going to have to go back and reload my saves before the kisses to get back into the Solasmance. It's been SOOOOO long since he has talked to me that I'm less enthusiastic about this playthrough. It also makes writing about his romance... challenging, esp when Cullen is in the story, too. :/ stoopid sexy extemplar.

I find I have to do similar with my Blackwall romance. I really do like the romance, and I love my Qun!Quizzy, but there are just so few scenes compared to Cullen's. I play her concurrently with a Cullen-mance run.

I can't decide if I want my new Lavellan to romance just Cullen; just Solas; retry the polyamory bug with Cullen and Solas; or try something new (like romance Blackwall and then dump him for Cullen, maybe?).  Hmm... tough choices, I know.

I find I have to do similar with my Blackwall romance. I really do like the romance, and I love my Qun!Quizzy, but there are just so few scenes compared to Cullen's. I play her concurrently with a Cullen-mance run. 

Yeah, I can see why. :/  I've still saved the "is there anyone special?" option and I pick it from time to time and reload, just to get my fix. I'm playing it that poor Cullen is still smitten with me, even tho I've gone another way.

This sounds mean but I really enjoyed my Blackwall/breakup/run to Cullen PT.  Break up with him on the throne for extra drama.  I enjoyed it so much that I'm pretty sure I'm gonna write a fanfic about it.

Oh for sure.  Your romance scenes with Cullen get a bit rushed since it's farther in the game - there's a period where every time you go talk to him there's a cut scene, but it's really great.  Blackwall takes it pretty well as long as you don't conscript him and make him continue the lie.

Does Cullen say anything about the Blackwall romance?  I'm guessing he doesn't, but it would be cute (to headcanon, at least) if he said "I know Blackwall broke your heart... let me fix it <3" lol

I WISH!!!  That's why I'm inspired to write a fanfic - stay tuned!  He does say something when you're at the Val Royeaux prison, just one line "I'm sorry, I know what he meant to you".  My headcanon was that the IQ was never really deep in love with Blackwall and she realized it when he came clean, but she still loves him as a friend and wants him to be a better man.  And I still flirted with Cullen the whole time I was also flirting with BW so she was really in love with Cullen but didn't realize it.  *swoon*
