Nope, not a bug. It's always there, you just can't see it unless you use flycam. Makes me wonder if the animators pulled some of it on purpose as a joke.

I reckon they're just random positioning of the characters that they just didn't spend the time to adjust since you'd never see them. They are quite something, tho. LOL

LOL I know. *sigh* I think I'm going to have to go back and reload my saves before the kisses to get back into the Solasmance. It's been SOOOOO long since he has talked to me that I'm less enthusiastic about this playthrough. It also makes writing about his romance... challenging, esp when Cullen is in the story, too. :/ stoopid sexy extemplar.

 

Gaaahhh... I wish I had time to draw stupid sexy Cullen! Anyone up for it?

Wouldn't it make more sense if the characters just went still and sat there almost in "pause" mode though? Rather than jump around and completely change positions...like to Cullen's "hey baby" smooth move recline. I have no clue how animation works so who knows.

Oh for sure. Your romance scenes with Cullen get a bit rushed since it's farther in the game - there's a period where every time you go talk to him there's a cut scene, but it's really great. Blackwall takes it pretty well as long as you don't conscript him and make him continue the lie.

Totally doing this, so glad I don't have to decide! Rushed cullen can only be good! Gonna save my flirty options for later although it'll be hard to resist giving him the creep smile!! Probably no way to do solas, huh? I heard he's not "activated" til what pride has wrought. Tooo far in!

I can't decide if I want my new Lavellan to romance just Cullen; just Solas; retry the polyamory bug with Cullen and Solas; or try something new (like romance Blackwall and then dump him for Cullen, maybe?).  Hmm... tough choices, I know.

Oh, yes!  It's something I discovered on my last playthrough that let me romance both Solas and Cullen at the same time.  Here, I'll copy/paste the explanation I posted elsewhere.  Keep in mind that I'm not 100% sure if it's repeatable.

 

My Lavellan kissed Solas in the Fade, and then immediately after when she woke up she agreed with Solas that it was best to remain friends by hitting the broken heart icon.  Despite this, Solas acknowledged the kiss after his personal quest on the balcony.  I thought, "Oh well why the hell not?", and had my Lavellan kiss him after he brought it up again.  The romance flag didn't actually lock her into it, however, and Solas will continue to call her Lethallan and Friend; neither will Sera, Vivienne, or the gossipers acknowledge their romance.  I was then free to pursue the Cullen romance, because I assumed what happened must have been a fluke.  I just headcanoned that they decided it couldn't work out and it was some time later (after Cullen's personal quest, Perseverance, in fact) that I initiated the Cullen romance.  Cullen's romance will lock in, and be acknowledged in his dialogue and outside gossip.

 

At the Winter Palace, Lavellan can request a dance from both Cullen and Solas, but it will be Cullen who will pursue her on the balcony to dance.

 

The end, after the Temple of Mythal, was when things became interesting.  Solas's romance scene does trigger and my Lavellan had the choice to remove her vallaslin.  Solas's tarot card actually changed to his romanced one, too, despite his romance technically not being active.  You also have the "romance dialogue" with him after that scene, asking him what happened when he "dumped" Lavellan.  The end scenes play out exactly as if she's romancing Cullen and Solas. (Example: Solas will tell her "what they had was real" and Lavellan still gets to hug Cullen when she returns)

 

Oh, and for funsies.  Here's a video I made of my Lavellan smooching Cullen and Solas.  Yes, I'm a terrible person.

Hey everyone! Just wanted to stop by and see how things are going here, and I saw this. Never noticed how many things Cullen and Garrus had in common. I noticed the calibration thing though. XD But I'm a hardcore Thane fan. I prefer dangerous aliens/humans who could kill you without blinking. Cullen is an exception in my line of favorites. But I'm so glad I met him.    

 

And now, the bad news. My DAI PT has been delayed a LOT more than I anticipated. Won't be able to stay around much... and won't be back any time soon. XD So uh, have fun everyone!
