And on that note, anyone got any suggestions where to post my first ever Fanfic? It is seriously long (I am such a long winded writer I swear!) so I need somewhere I can post a several 1000 and then some words. I really am nervous over posting it, this is something I have never done before. I also need to know how to post pictures on here too. I have 2 I did of Cullen, one close up, one more at a distance. They were the first ones I have ever done, so not fantastic, but not horrid either, so I figured I would at least share and see what you all think.
Welcome! Indeed, if something's longer than about 500 words it should be posted elsewhere. AO3 and ff.n are both good choices, and you'll find folks around here have different reasons for preferring either. As I've said previously, I currently have AO3 invites so PM if you would like one, and just include your e-mail address at which you'd like to receive the invite.

THE THEME
The theme that has emerged is "Thanks for the memories!" What does this mean? Whatever you want it to, so long as it's Culleny. Get inspired by memories, nostalgia, thanks for game, thoughts on the end of the game, thoughts on what happens after the game, favorite memory from the game, favorite memory from being a Cullen fan, looking back, looking forward, whatever.
Also, it doesn't have to follow the theme. That's just for inspiration, for those who want some. It just has to be Culleny.
WHAT TO CONTRIBUTE
Describe your fave memory from in game, or post a screenshot of it. Write a poem inspired by memories. Make a drink recipe that induces a black out of memories. Art, photomanip, fanfic, screenshot, text, banter, dialogue, drink recipe, limerick, fic, whatever. Go for it. All is good, so long as it's Culleny. Ask if you need suggestions for places to post fic or art, etc. For fic longer than ~500 words, post elsewhere and post a link here.

I can't travel to Val Royeaux via the war table. Do you just mean in the war room, or the table? There's no means to get there via the war table. There's just a knife in the table saying that that quest is completed. Do you have a means to travel there via the war table? Because if you do and I don't then that may be a separate problem. I can fast travel to other regions, and have tried the suggested method of standing around in a safe area for a half hour, but no dice.

I`m not sure who writes these stories and I am under the impression that they are mostly...males? Also just because all the female characters have their breasts showing post sex and we have nothing. Yeah, it`s minor, but Dorian`s butt doesn`t count. Just my 2 cents lol.

I'm not really sure what you expect from a post-sex scene with a guy. And I've gotta ask, why doesn't Dorian's butt count? Only because he's the m/m romance option, or it's not Cullen? I can assure you that there are a LOT of straight female players that are happy with it. All of the post-sex scenes that I'm familiar with seem to be crafted to suit the particular LI, so in that sense I think they come off well. As for the Blackwall one, I would think that waking up in a barn naked and alone would be devastating (I've only read about this one, not watched it), which was probably the desired result.
To be fair though, these are cinematic as well as writing choices, and the whole team works together to decide on the final result.
You ever notice that dark haired folk in the games seem to be more tortured, while the lighter haired people seem to be more laid back? It even works if you take into account that Fenris probably had brown hair originally (judging by his sister) and Anders was really chill before merging with Justice?
The only exceptions thus far really have been Velanna, Sigrun and Cullen, although he's more laid back when he's not being a workaholic?

And a polite reminder, please be careful not to hate on characters from the game. Odds are there are people on here who like that character, possibly for exactly the same reasons you dislike him or her. Personally, I found Velanna to be a breath of fresh air in her way.
