They may, but they won't. Visual characteristics are also important. GW looks like a classic warrior - robust, big, muscley and tallIt's hardly the same thing.
Oghren is an established character. The Iron Bull had many pieces of official art dedicated to him with his name depicting him having this giant two-handed sword. The Grey Warden does not have a name, nor has he been officially announced in any capacity. He might as well not exist at this point. If the Devs wanted to make him a rogue, then they could.
(Actually, if the Devs wanted to make any of their characters rogues, it's not like we could stop them. Heck, maybe Cullen's a rogue. Mmmm, Cullen with a bow.)
Again, I don't think it's likely, but it's hardly an impossibility.
Sorry, can't resist, beware of ME3 spoiler His name was Marauder Shields
Marauder Shields tried really hard to make sure I never saw the ending.
I must have died to him and those three little blasted husks twenty times. I am terrible with the gun. I am a sentinel why you make me shoot game.
I have way too much respect for my body to ever eat any kind of fried dessert
I'm used to Georgia food. Where I lived, I'm surprised they didn't deep fry shoes or towels and eat them, because pretty much any other food you can think of was heavily fried. I still eat it from time to time, straight from my gigantic death trap of a cast iron skillet.
I bought the trilogy on xbox; it didn't come with any DLCs.
Really?
Wow. That's terrible.
Gosh, love Matt Smith
I'm gonna cry now that you mentioned that. MATT WHYYYY????!!!! Dx

It's just a tiiiiiiny templar symbol on the hindquarters, I wouldn't worry.
*Sobs* so that's why it hurts to sit. TT~TT

Maybe. Nothing is certain. Everything is permissible.
I also really want a robust rogue. Like Duncan. Who also had kickbutt facial hair.
Didn't she buy the Trilogy? Doesn't that come with... everything?
Nope, all it comes with is the 3 base games.

That is terrible. I think I got it confused, because I was looking up the PS3 version a few days, and that comes with, I guess, some DLC. Oops!
I'm gonna cry now that you mentioned that. MATT WHYYYY????!!!! Dx
I also love David Tennant #bringshandkerchiefs
Figure this is good as thread as any, since non relate totally...I read somewhere, and now for the life on me I cant remember where, but I read that one of the devs said that someone from DAO is coming back and that their appearance changes based on choices and outcomes of that character.....my immediate thoughts are OMG my warden...YOUR thoughts?

Not to nitpick, but you realize the Arishok from DA2 was a rogue, right? He fits the warrior aesthetic, but they wanted him to dual-wield so he's classed as rogue.
GW is probably a warrior, but I don't think the main evidence is his physical appearance.
Wow R2! That OP is BEAUTIFUL!!!!
Went through some of the page number celebrations that happened in the dark days before I discovered this thread.
This was pure gold right here:

Oo, I didn't realized that but that would make me very pleased indeed. That's why I liked Sigrun in daa and kept her in medium armor.

I know I rejoiced when they brought David back for the 50th anniversary! Allons-y! #loudlyblowsnose

Poor Sigrun! I didn't realize she was a rogue for a good half of the game so I gave her ridiculous warrior stuff to wear. ![]()

I got all the DLC for the first one because I bought the digital download. I also bought ME2, but got the physical copy. Then Origin borked and I thought it was a problem on my end, so I bought the Trilogy.
The main reason Arishok was a rogue were the game's mechanics. Warriors could not be dualists anymore. As Mary Kirby said, qunari do not train to become thieves or rogues. Scouts - yeah. Talliss is kind of an exception, but she is a convert elfNot to nitpick, but you realize the Arishok from DA2 was a rogue, right?
