The only reason I could think that people wouldn't be responding would be that PAX South is happening rn. But I'm sure there are people that didn't attend so idk...
EA at least should have folks sitting next to phones and behind monitors ready to respond to issues 8-5, M-F ... if not 24/7. I mean that is how you run a tech company.
Anyway, I uninstalled and reinstalled, and the problem persists. I "repaired" the game, and still the same thing happens. I effectively cannot launch the game at this point 
Do you know what version drivers you are running?
I have no idea. How do I find this out? I did play the game just last week (1/19) and haven't installed any new drivers since then.
By the way, can anyone suggest a more official way to contact them about this? Is there a number I can call perhaps?

Sooo.... reading through all your tortured posts (poor dear!)... are you saying that the tech guy made it so you can see your desktop, but they haven't replaced your video card and fan yet...? You can still do graphical things, like see the desktop, with the barebones graphics they build into your computer's basic hardware. But the basic graphics are not enough to run a real game like DA:I. If they haven't finished replacing your card, then the game will simply not run. But maybe I'm misunderstanding what they did.
I was talking to a friend today about my difficulty with writing fiction and he laughed and said it was because I have spent the past decade writing like a scientist...and have thus forgotten how to use adjectives, while I have twenty for phrases for "the data suggest". I think he may be on to something. ... LOL!!!

A question for all you writers out there. When you write, do you just free-style your chapter/story or do you already have the chapter/story written down and then type it out? I typically do a lot of free-styling...is that weird?
I write an outline first. I used to write free style but then I got terribly stuck in a story. I couldn't come up with an ending for months. If I write the outline first I already know the ending before I start writing. That way I have a goal and this helps me to stay focused. It's not a perfect approach though. Sometimes I have a scene in mind that I really want to write but my outline isn't finished yet. At first I tried to resist the urge and to focus on the outline only. That didn't do me any good because it got frustrating. So, now I have several seperated files. One is for my outline, another one is for a collection of scenes that I write in between. I can't always use them all but I got them off my chest.

I thought it was hilarious that I found a chapter of HinH in the HQ of that Hessarian group on the Storm Coast. Actually, I think it would be funny to see a list of all the places these chapters are found. And yes, HinH is a crime serial, the one given Cass was the romance. Varric thinks he writes lousy romance...

Yeah, he has a perfectly good office with doors closed and a bedroom just up the ladder, but they sneak out to grand central station outside his door. I think we can confirm that Cullen is a closet exhibitionist.

There seems to be two ways but they are contacting EA. It's either live chat or callback from EA personnel (Bioware doesn't offer any personal help services).

People don't really praise the live chat and callbacks from what I have heard so even if you contact game advisor via them you might not get help. But it might help at least.
Cullen is a poor test subject for recolors, in any case, because he looks perfect in anything. We could do Halamshiral Potato Sack Retexture, and he'd still look like a proper fairytale prince.
