I also think if Cullen showed up in your quarters suddenly it would be HIGHLY inappropriate and unprofessional, if she hadn't instigated anything because of their working relationship and how much power he has.  Blackwall doing it after a few flirts is a tiny bit creepy BUT he is just her companion/employee and he isn't commanding the troops or anything really important at the IQ.  Cullen has to worry about how the IQ forces see him.

GE is such a great guy for how much he cares about his fans, but I think I'll stick to my "Men in Tights" ringtone for now!

Yeeeah, like monica said, the controversy over Anders making the first move in DA2 means this is not something likely to happen again. Players are very vocal about having agency, particularly for such a maligned aspect of the game as romance.

Wow, I had no idea this was possible, let alone a controversy! I guess I can see that, since romance is such a personal preference and many gamers go without cg bootie. I guess I was always way too aggressive in game...life imitating art I suppose...or is it the other way around?

Ha, I like the "answer the phone" one the best - but yeah, I can't set it on my phone.  On these he sounds more like DA2 Cullen more than DAI, I wonder if they added a bit of bass to his voice in post? Or maybe it's just the fact that he's using an iPhone.

TBH... I think he forgets the voice over time, which he sorta admitted when Rita met him.

Maybe if you could gently let him down like Cullen does to anyone who's not a fem human or elf in DA:I and his reaction was more like "Okay then, let's carry on" there wouldn't have been such a backlash? Even though these are fantasy games the relationships feel so realistic, and it is realistic that sometimes you'll get hit on without provoking it, it would be interesting to see.

With all the voice acting work he does I imagine it must be near impossible to keep track of.

Yeah, that's how I felt personally on the matter.  The only way to turn Anders down is to get all angry face and say "I don't want you thinking about me in that way >=(".  There was no kind way to let him down gently (and if he had rivalry points over that-then whatever).  I honestly don't think (most) people would have cared as much if there was a nice way to reject him.

On the thing with Anders, it is really terrible. If I don't romance him, I seldom talk to him in Act 1 and before I commit to someone in Act 2, just cause it kills me how horrid it is to shoot him down.

Agree; he's a busy, busy man. Plus, it's not like he knows much of anything about Cullen anyway, given that he's never played the games and gets the lines out of order and generally without context. That's not a lot to hang onto. So, certainly not a dig at Greg, just acknowledging the reality.

I'm on Patch 3 and I haven't had any issues with DAI Cinematic Tools. It works the same as before. 

 

That's really odd - I haven't touched any of the files for DAI or the flycam for weeks so I have no idea what went wrong. I know I didn't do anything differently than usual while loading it. Just re-downloaded it from the site and it started working again even though the last update was apparently in December. Very weird.
