It's crazy to think that DAI is only 6 months away now! 

 

I know it sounds so close but I keep thinking I wish they'd just release it and be done because really I'm spending way too much time on these boards.  It's like wake up, check threads, make the beds, check the threads and on and on.  I have *things* that need doing!

It'll be here before you know it. We've done the hardest of the waiting. Once E3 hits, it'll all be downhill from there.

I suspect this one might be for multiplayer - there were a few questions about it on the survey.  If I have to play in front of someone it will be mortifying, because I am TERRIBLE.

Well I hate, loathe and detest multiplayer anything.  I get performance anxiety issues.    This being said if they must bring it in the only thing that will reconcile me to its existence is the possibility of playing with you guys.

I usually leave Bethany/Carver at home when my Hawke starts on the Deep Roads expedition. Yes, being made a Grey Warden is prestigious and all that but I still have a teeny tiny problem with the "you've got 30 years, give or take" part of the deal. I know they'll be mad at my Hawke but at least they have the option to be mad at him for many, many years.  

 

I always thought that GWs had about 30 of living with the Taint, not until age 30-ish before they die. Look at Loghain! He's well beyond 30 nd can be made a Warden. If being Tainted somehow ended one's life after their early 30s, I don't see how making Loghain a Warden would have been useful. So... having 30 years from when you're Tainted, unless you're really young (like Carver admittedly) you would still have a pretty long life. Carver would have until he's about his mid 50s? Not terribly long granted, but still better than dying around 30-ish. And since he would be off doing Grey Warden stuff, and seemed happier for it, I always make him a Warden. Plus I get a little thrill when he returns and he's like "fighting side by side once again, just the old days" or something like that.

I know! I didn't think we'd get the box art + release date before E3, let alone a freaking trailer!! That means that for E3 they're gonna probably have a "Story Trailer" since they gave us a gameplay trailer this week.

It was a big surprise! When they showed us the box art I was expecting them to just announce the release date on Twitter or something, so that trailer came as a huge surprise!

I still can't believe someone asked Greg if Cullen had ever licked a lamp post in winter. *snort* And his reply... *snicker* Oh he sounds like he's demurring big time because he can just sense that's a loaded question but isn't sure why because it seems harmless if a bit random. Poor guy is gonna go ask the people in charge at Bioware if Cullen has licked a lamp post and they'll all be like "Nooooooo! DON'T answer that!" haha!
