Hi, sorry to bother everyone but by any chance does anyone have an invite for AO3 they are not likely to use?  If they're hard to come by don't worry; I'm not 100% sure how much I would post there (dA makes me split up long stuff and I don't think many people use it anymore, and ff.net seems kind of formal, but idk.)  I kind of want to post some stuff where it might get more of an audience and I kind of don't want to post stuff where it might get more of an audience.  Yaaaaay for having poor self-esteem.  Not gonna get into it, just feeling kind of crummy lately.

 

If AO3 is likely to open registration back up again fairly soon then no worries, I'll just wait.  Just thinking it might be a decent option.

The thing I liked most was how sweetly it started out.  Also that period of the game is my favorite to head canon, appears it is for most other Cullenites as well (and maybe others? not sure).  It's fun to read these interpretations but I still wish we had more scenes there.  I'd have liked to seen them fussing over the IQ before she wakes up to the arguing.

This goes out to you cinematic tools users - is there any way to get the IQ POV when Cullen smiles at her - when she says "I'm glad you made it, it was close"? For - you guessed it - science.

You have to manually position the camera. Flycam has a pretty steep learning curve. 1st person shots are the hardest to get right, since you have to mess around with field of view too.

It depends on which mod. If you are using the brow set, it replaces all CC brows, and will also replace the ones on NPC's (provided they don't have a custom face like Cullen, Cass, etc).

Yes, all you need to do is turn it on and position yourself through her face in time when the moment arrives. I giffed an angle of it:

 

 

Pretty much any cutscene can be screencapped from new angles as long as your camera is at the right place. The most annoying thing about snapping shots of cutscenes is the inability to pause or slow down time. ;-;

I am more comfortable with writing from a woman's POV as well, but I also like to challenge myself and put myself in a guy's shoes. For fan fiction it's not too bad, since the characters are already fleshed out really well. So, as long as I have a good grasp of the character, I am fine. For original writing I find it difficult to vary my men... Somehow they always end up having a lot of traits in common with my hubby 

 

Either way, write the way you like best Have fun But don't be afraid to experiment

I think you have to go outside "what you know" for any character you're writing, tho. I mean, I've never been an elf or a mage either. That being said, I love writing from Cullen's point of view and I do it quite a bit. :shrug:
