The siege of Haven when either Dorian or Cole bangs on the gate, he is supposed to be wearing then. He holds his head as if he is peering out of a low eye slot and his eyes are quite buggy.

Did anyone else desperately want a schematic for Abelas' armour? I wanted to wear that ancient armour so badly, especially after I had one of those Elves show up in my Skyhold courtyard. 

 

More on topic, I'm sad about the Lion helm. I know not everyone feels the same. I would have been cool with a mabari helm, too Was anyone else disappointed that we didn't get to see or fight any of those Red Lions that are supposed to live in the Frostback mountains? Obviously that's what Cullen's fur mantle/pauldrons are made of. Would have been cool to see one. Instead it was just very angry bears ...

Wow, really? I didn't know that. So, only lions in the table top RPG? Too bad. Even before i read about the red lions, I felt there was a strange lack of large cats in the game. How is it that the Valmonts chose a Lion for their symbol when there are none to be found, even in Orlais? Did they wipe them all out or something?

Greendelle is scary good.  She gets his face and essence (and Alistair's) exactly right but manages to modernize them somewhat. I can't wait until EternalShiva finishes the AU noir piece.

I quit in May... went from cigarettes to vaping cold turkey. Still have the hand to mouth thing as well as the nicotine, awesome flavors instead of nasty taste, house no longer stinks, and no carbon monoxide. I did smoke for 26 years so I am not knocking those who do... simply saying I'm glad I switched it up, I feel better.

I quit in early November after smoking for 6 years.  I can breathe easier now, which is nice, though I still have those cravings.  I just hope that I can kick the habit for good this time (especially after losing relatives to cancer).

 

I don't have anything against those who smoke, either.

I have seen the "right/wrong way to play" attitude quite often here in the thread, but that's a recurring discussion that doesn't seem to accomplish much, as it keeps coming back from time to time, so.  Que sera, sera.

 

In any case, you are right, of course, it was in poor tone of me to comment on that as a segue to your post, and I apologize for that. As R2 pointed out, the heart of the issue in this is in discussing the players rather than the game, which is how this whole conversation started, and what we should try to avoid in general.

Yeaaaah 10 years smoking here... wow has it been so long? As soon as my son figures out what mommy is doing and why she smells bad, it's quitting time. I give it another few months. Vaping isn't terrible but I feel like I'd do it more often since I can do it anywhere in the house...not sure if that's any better...

Haha, I'm extremely nearsighted, even with glasses, so I just assumed he had really good eyesight XD
