Lol, it seems like I am one of the few people who have never smoked in their lives. Being on the Varsity Soccer team and Cross Country team, well one does not smoke. Not that I'm bashing anyone, I just haven't smoked and never intend to put deadly chemicals into my body.

It's one of those minor goofs on the writer's part. Samson is like a kilometer away at the least, rather difficult to see who someone is from that distance.

OMG, so I got back to Skyhold after the Abyss quest and what was waiting for me there?

Sexy time with Cullen. It happened, it finally happened.

So naturally I have some thoughts about it and wanted to discuss.

And I do not mean for this to sound critical at all, it was a lovely scene.

However, when Cullen seems unsure about what Inquisitor wants, like long term with him, I personally didn't really like her response "do you really need to ask?" that's kind of avoiding the question, and not very reassuring in my opinion. I really wish she'd have said something different. Cauz, yea he obviously does need to ask, since he did and all.

Also, at the end when you have the option to say "I love you", seems kind of odd to say that at the end, no? And it doesn't sound like she's said it many times to him before and is just saying it again now, it actually sounds like she is saying it for the very first time because she says "you know that right?" Just seems to me like Cullen is the sort that would want to make sure they loved each other before the sex.

Also I wish there was an option where he says he loves her and she says it back, instead of her saying it first.

And I think this was discussed a bunch earlier, but I do wish they were lying there together instead of her getting dressing all looking like she was going to just leave without saying anything to him.

Anyways, just my thoughts, again don't mean to sounds critical, overall I did really like the scenes, especially the part where they touch foreheads.

 

And maybe I just didn't trigger the right cut scenes yet since I literally just got done with the Abyss. But seems kind of odd that nobody noticed that we fell to our death, or so it appeared. I thought people would be all like "OMG you are alive?! How?!" I guess I expected more of a dramatic reaction, especially from Cullen who said nothing about it at all. Maybe he didn't notice, maybe time stands still when you are in the fade.

 

Also, I can't seem to find Blackwall. The map is showing him in the stable where he normally is, but no one is there. I searched everywhere thinking maybe there is  note or something. Is this a glitch? Or do I need to do something to trigger a cutscene? The only quest I got from him so far is the Memories of the Grey, and I completed it a while ago, since then he never had anything new to say to me.

Wow, really? I didn't know that. So, only lions in the table top RPG? Too bad. Even before i read about the red lions, I felt there was a strange lack of large cats in the game. How is it that the Valmonts chose a Lion for their symbol when there are none to be found, even in Orlais? Did they wipe them all out or something?

There's a bug where companions will randomly disappear in Skyhold.  Try quicksaving and reloading and he should appear.

But for me it wasn't really because of that, it is more because I was always straight edge and don't even drink(although I did try in college, a tiny bit, didn't like the taste). And my father smoked and then struggled for years and years to quit, so I guess seeing that had an effect also.

Considering that my mother is actually allergic to something in the smoke, as in she will feel like she is itching out of her skin/chocking. I never really saw anyone smoke other than some of the "delinquents" at my school or on TV. Regardless, it is amazing that people are able to break that habit and try to live a healthier lifestyle.

Some people think that it's not the first time they've had sex.  I initially thought it was, but now I'm not sure.  I definitely think it's the first time any I love yous were said.  I agree with a lot of your criticisms but I still really enjoyed it.  I definitely wanted to see some morning naked cuddles - even if they didn't really show much, or they were under the blankets. I have railed about this before but yes it's really odd that nobody comments on you coming back from the Fade alive, especially your LI.  As for "Do you need to ask?" I agree it's a bit blunt/short.  It seems like they tried to really keep the PC dialogue to a minimum.

My father grew up in Ukraine(then he moved to Russia, which is where I was born and grew up, but now I live in the US) and everyone smoked, it wasn't a known thing that it was bad for you. My grandfather died of lung cancer. I can't remember when exactly my dad quit for real, but I just remember it was a very long struggle and sometimes it seemed like he was done for good just to relapse. I am glad he did it though because I know he really wanted to.

I just like to think someone saw you disappear in the fade rift, they did see you return however.  Plus I normally do this first so Cullen is having his Lyrium moment when we get back to Skyhold so I figure he has other things on his mind lol. off camera though he is really relieved to see me alive

If you've had sexy times with Cullen, that means you've completed both Here Lies the Abyss and Wicked Eyes and Wicked Hearts, right? So you've triggered Blackwall's real personal quest, and there's a reason you can't find him at Skyhold. At the stables where he usually hangs out there should be a letter from Blackwall to you pinned to the little griffon toy he was working on before, and a messenger by the door who will update on what's going on. Just follow your quest journal after that and you'll find him.

Oh! Thanks for that R2. So, when they say "Eastern Thedas" they mean from across the sea, I guess. I wonder why their depictions of lions don't look more "off" though. You know, when you see historical paintings of exotic creatures by artists who have only ever had the animal described to them?

 

I still maintain the mountain lions from the table top RPG book would have been fun to see in game. lol.

I think I remember reading that theory before. I guess I just assumed Cullen was all goody two shoes cauz he kind of seems that way to me, maybe because Alistair was and they are both kind of sweet and awkward so I find them to have lots of similarities, but whose to say he doesn't take sleeping together not that seriously. Maybe they have been all this time, and this is just kind of the first time he realizes how much she means to him and that he doesn't want it to be just a fling. After all you do get the option to lock in the romance at this point.

And speaking of Alistair, my DA:O didn't import correctly and I got Stroud even though it should have been Alistair. Had to watch it online, so sweet to see him talk about the HOF(when I played he was my romance).
