Dorian def teases quizzy lol when I first got this I was like what?

Yeah I have played this game numerous times and I have NEVER gotten that dialogue from Dorian.

I got this just now on my second Cullen romance play, but not in the first. The only difference that I can think of is that on my first play I was just friends with Dorian, but on this second play I'm flirty friends with him, which includes having picked the star option during his quest that asks about the flirting.

Anyone else notice this same thing, or is it just a coincidence?


Oh btw, this dialog fired after first kiss and post-lake (I did these two successively, so idk if only the kiss scene would have triggered it.)

Oh yes, Cullen is a rule follower. Which makes me wonder if he is all for following rules in the bedroom.

 

 

Cullen: "Inquisitor, I know we have, um, spent some alone time together. Perhaps it’s a good time for me to present these rules I have drawn up for us."

 

(Hands the Inquisitor a piece of paper. Inquisitor, looks at the paper and begins reading).

 

 

1. No sex toys. This includes live animals such as nugs.

 

2. There is no safety word. We either do this or we do not.

 

3. We will remain partially clothed for the first part of love making then later we may remove our clothes.

 

4. Do not touch my bottom.

 

5. I know you are the Inquisitor, but I am the Commander. I prefer taking charge.

 

6. There will be nothing kinky happening. This includes playing "The naughty mage and upstanding knight." I prefer simplicity.

 

7. No outfits. They do nothing for me.

 

8. Being a former Templar and you being a mage, I do not want any spells cast to increase arousal. Again this does nothing for me.

 

9. Please keep the screaming and moaning to a whisper. I do not need the soldiers in the barracks to over hear us, thus spreading more gossip then already has been.

 

10. Yes, my ceiling/floor is in a bad state, thus we will do it simple and slow. I do not need the floor collapsing and us with down into my office.

 

11.When you awake, please dress quickly and attempt to sneak out before I awake. You will no doubt fail but at least try.

 

12. When sleeping with me, I have bad dreams, not wet dreams. You must endure this.

 

 

 (Inquisitor looks up from the paper back at Cullen, with a deer in the head-lights look).

 

Cullen hands her a quill with fresh ink on the tip). “Just sign down at the bottom of the paper please."

Yes I got that on one PT - I think they had a two-fer that night.  One on the desk, one in the bed .

 

Yes. The desk sex was passionate and I definitely think they were still partially clothed. I think after recovering Cullen suggested they go somewhere where its more comfortable so they climbed the latter to his room.

no idea although my quizzy did flirt a lot with Dorian so it could be tied to that I'll have to try it again on another pt to see

I have railed about this before but yes it's really odd that nobody comments on you coming back from the Fade alive, especially your LI. 

 

One thing I particularly liked about Dorian's conversation after Adamant (when romancing him) is he actually talks about how he thought you had died and stuff. It was nice to have the recognition of that was some crazy ****.

On another note though I have 2 different types of PT's going on atm and damn I never would have thought it would be so angsty with my Dalish Artificer as it is one where I allied with the templars she is pro templars it has to do with her back story and everything I have done I have gotten disapproval from Solas in my pt and canon solas says some really nasty stuff about cullen and lavellen.

 

Curious about this now. What does Solas say about Cullen and Lavellan? My Trevelyan had a rocky friendship with Solas at best, but he never commented on her and Cullen... probably because to him it was just another pair of humans bumping uglies? But you've made me curious on how he views an elf going for a human partner.

Oh no this is my canon and the story that I have going for this particular play through. Solas doesn't actually say anything about Cullen and Lavellen in the game itself.

Yeah, I'm curious too.  My Lavellan romanced Cullen, but Solas didn't say anything about them (probably because I was rolling that polyamory bug).  She also had max approval with him, so maybe he only says nasty stuff if he disapproves of the Inquisitor?

Ya know it might've made it really interesting though if they would have added it into game especially if you are Dalish elf,but maybe that's just the drama ****** in  me wanting that bit of angst every now and again

I have this mental picture of Dorian and Bull watching as some workers are bringing back Cullen's desk after fixing it

 

Dorian:  What's going on?

 

Iron Bull:  The boss and Cullen finally did it on the desk. They're fixing the desk.

 

Dorian:  (laughing) It was always obvious they had a thing for a each other but on the desk? How do you know this?

 

Iron Bull: Dalish, my mage in the Chargers is a shapeshifter. She saw the whole thing. They did it on the desk partially clothed. And after recovering from their excursion, the boss and Cullen looked at each other then went up the latter to where he sleeps.

 

Dorian: I once did it on the desk. I was on top though. The Pavus family still has not been able to eradicate back problems from the line. I just am surprised. I didn't know Cullen had it in him. 

 

Iron Bull:  I did it with a templar once so I'm not surprised. They can only hold it in for so long. Why aren't you surprised about the boss.

 

Dorian: Our illustrious leader told me some rather interesting tidbits about the Circle that made me realize that while she was no harlot, she also is not a delicate mage flower I assumed all mages would be here.

 

Iron Bull:  So that's why she flirts with everyone

 

Dorian:  Thats our Lady Inquistor, sealer of rifts and an incorrigible flirt. She's a good friend so I won't tease her too much. Oh who am I kidding?  There is no way I can resist this.

 

Iron Bull: (Laughs) Better watch out...the boss might singe that stache of yours.

I know Sera can make some snide banter remarks to Solas in a LavellanxSolas romance, plus her remark about Elven Glory to the IQ (already heard both on mine). I think Solas can make a couple of banter comments, but I've only heard them regarding an IB romance.

Going back to the DA:O mod for Cullen to make him look like he does in Inquisition, anyone have a link?

I am playing DA2 right now by the way to refresh - man, I can't get over how different Cullen sounds. His voice is so light and airy compared to the Inquisition version. He's been hardened now by the events in Kirkwall, heh. I definitely much prefer his look and sound now.

lol  you have to have really really low approval with Solas he does call you out on some stuff like allying with the templars and other stuff he disapproved of and it can lead up to you getting the option to hitting Solas  but yeah he doesn't say anything about the relationship with Lavellen and Cullen its all my canon with him saying stuff. In this pt I went rival with solas

Oh I have loads of pts where my other Lavellen's are besties with Solas its just this one canon was for this particular pt and seemed to fit this Lavellen's character and back story she has a mighty hard time trusting any mage and it has to do with her personal back story that I have set for her

I kinda like how Sera teases the IQ about dating Cullen, but never in a really mean way. She gives Cullen all these ridiculous nicknames, calls him a jackboot, but it's never meant in a seriously offensive way, she's mostly amused by the whole notion of the IQ breaking past Cullen's frowny faces.

 

Even in a playthrough I experimented with when she was half-romanced (like, you've kissed and done stuff, but then you break up with her in her first crisis point about making the relationship more serious) and then traded for Cullen, her jokes about ~Cully Wully~ came off more as her at least being happy that Cullen's making you happy, even if your relationship with her didn't work out. She's just pretty sweet about it, overall.

That's good to know. She's a bit rude, and not necessarily in the funny way, about SolasxLavellan. Seems she thinks the only reason they got together is because elfy parts. I'm honestly liking her better in my CullenxLavellan PT.

Yeah I agree the CullenxLavellen she is better with it. I have to say that I didn't like Sera at first,but now my quizzy and her are besties and after hearing more about her
