As for my hubby, this is his reaction to my fangirliness over Cullen:

 

 

My b/f hasn't said anything yet about all the screenshots I take of Cullen. I showed him the black and white's today and he was like "that's a screenshot???" I think I have the "but he's a great photography subject!" excuse down so he doesn't say anything. He knows that once I find something I like to take pictures of I go a little nuts. 

 

Then again, he can't say anything because he has boobies as his background on his laptop...and no they're not mine.

Yup!  But you gotta pick your battles. Which is why almost every post I have ever put on this site has a damned typo in it.  I just gotta let the words go and move on and hope folks know what the hell I'm saying!    Work though...gotta be perfection.  Blah!

I've been beebopping between Chapter 3 and completing my art (for the lulz as always) that I've been working on for the last six hours.  I'm still learning to use the 3d software.  Ironically, I can paint a picture with words better than I can make a picture.

So, this has nothing to do with the current discussions on here, but I just went giggity with my best friend over Cullen, and I thought I'd share with you I sent her the portrait of Cullen I am currently working on (she knows nothing of Dragon Age), and her reaction was: "He's so sexy! Don't let [your husband] see this, EVER!"

 

I went all squee at her reaction: Cullen's attractiveness is universal, apparently. Best friend approved

My problem is that I get all weirded out when he's in the room and I'm reading fanfic and it gets smutty. Then he'll try to talk to me or come up behind me and I'll hide what I'm reading, which of course makes things even more weird.

The only time it every bothers me is when my brain is going too fast for my hands to keep up and then it's just simple annoyance with how slow my hands are acting.

I think the worst for me is my hubby is light footed and he's walked up behind me numerous times without my knowing so and I have turned around and caught him reading a smutty fanfic I am reading silently laughing at me and shaking his head in amusement. While I'm darn near having to crawl back into my skin cause he scared the ever loving **** out of me and I'm completely beet red @ being caught at reading smut lol. So now because of that I have to constantly look behind me to make sure he isn't standing there before I start reading any kind of Cullen smut

I haven't read it either, and probably never will. BDSM is not my cup of tea. A friend of mine was very unhappy about the portrayal of women in those books, though. Meh...

I know this was super far back but I'm on my phone and just wanted to add my head canon.

For my Cullenmance pt Perseverance happened right after Adamant, so in my world, Cullen sees you going to the Fade as a personal failure on his part and something he thinks may not have happened if he hadn't been in withdrawal. So it's not so much, "I can't believe you almost died" but more, "It's my fault that you almost died, and it's because I wasn't taking lyrium.

 

Wow, that's a really good headcanon, I'll adopt that one too. The feel...

Yeah, I am wondering the same thing. Normally I get prompt/idea from this topic. The first fanfic I attempted was from someone's comic from Tumblr. Then a few fanfic idea/project from discussions here and there on BSN. I've seen a few people doing fanfic based on some fanarts too
