Oh yes, Cullen is a rule follower. Which makes me wonder if he is all for following rules in the bedroom.

10. Yes, my ceiling/floor is in a bad state, thus we will do it simple and slow. I do not need the floor collapsing and us with down into my office.

 

11.When you awake, please dress quickly and attempt to sneak out before I awake. You will no doubt fail but at least try.

 

12. When sleeping with me, I have bad dreams, not wet dreams. You must endure this.

Just a thought, but I really guess Cullen might make a good engineer, like mechanical engineer or something similar. He did loves calibration (that is something), he seems to get a real good logic & analyze problems from technical point of view is his forte. Well, that's not all qualities that make good engineer but he's heading for a very good start. Well maybe that's the engineer in me speaking.

I have a question about Ao3 since so many of you write on it. How do you get the assignments, writing promps that kind of thing?

AO3 is just a place for posting. Prompts and such are found in other communities, like Tumblr for example, or devart, or even here. There's also a well known random prompt generator, altho I don't know if it's been updated for DAI: http://www.scattered.../DAPrompts.html

 

A nice feature of AO3, however, is that it's well designed for gifting fics or posting to a collection or series or whatever.

He and Garrus would bond like good bros I've known a few engineers and he certainly had the qualities and a lovely dry sense of humor to boot

 

I can actually picture him reading books about mathematics, liking algebra & calculus & all those mechanical studies. I can even imagine him bending on the table, trying to do a technical drawings for war equipments & catapults and things like that

 

He's quite meticulous apparently. Well, in today's world except Firefighter!Cullen & military career, I really can imagine him in science & engineering. Engineer, mostly. Maybe Aeronautical engineer or Mechanical. I don't know whether this is only my perception of his character or whether any of you feel it too, he's quite the logical & analytical kind of person. I like how Leliana & him approach the Siege to Adamant problem with analysis of the situation & possible solutions.

 

Yesterday I was looking at some mechanic books & can't help myself from picturing my Inquisitor show the book to him & he was quite enthralled by it

Oooo I belive I it! While not exclusive to women by any means, I think our imaginations are more vivid and fan fic can tailor itself to characters we're already fantasizing about everything I've read here so far (oh sweet war table...) is a variation of what I've already pictured in my head.

You know, fire=hot, sweaty hero. but just mulling over other career paths...im a project manager sooo no, he wouldn't do that...computer programmer...nooooo, writer? naaaaw. It seems to be a good fit, mechanical engineering perhaps. Military career is an obvious one, so if I was to think outside of the box, I'd agree with you!

I think I should do a cross over fic with Cullen and Garus meeting each other. That would be awesome, have the inquisitor and Cullen fall into a small rift and gets droped into the Normandy.

I could imagine Cullen being Inthralled with the Normandy's engines, and the Thaix cannon because that weapon was bad ass. I am still pissed the Alliance navy stole that from me xd. My Inquisitor could just hang with my Shepard and the girls of the squad wondering and giggling with each other about men ect.

Although, I can also see him and Kaidan getting along, as well, since hello fellow tech nerd. You know he's a Sentinel and all that good stuff.

Stupid phone...but yessss!!! Please do this! You know, that planet they land on at the end of ME3 looking hauntingly like the brecillian forest, or perhaps the emerald graves....they might already be there, waiting to be scooped up by the inquisition. I'd looooove the idea that both lores happen concurrently, but Thedas just isn't space faring yet so the reapers went "meh, next time"

Firefighter/Military is associated to his "I want to protect people" side of personality I guess. He also has qualities that'll make him an excellent Engineer (Mechanical at least), that analytical/logical side of him. Anyway I'd love to see him depicted as Engineer for once, this might make a good AU Fanfic, or him explaining mechanical calculations he made in DA universe to the quizzy, explaining that he's making improvements by shortening the arms of the catapult, something like that

 

Writer... nah I can hardly picture him writer, he's too introvert IMO. Programmer... Hmmm... IDK.
