OK. This is driving me insane. I downloaded Free Cam to take up close shots of Cullen. However as soon as I focus in it starts to go blurry. If anyone here, knows what the hell I can do to fix this, I'd appreciate it.

I look at these pics (especially Melissa's) and I'm twirling my hair and smiling like an idiot. The brain is powerful!
A side note - from just having watched the videos, I keep seeing people say Cullen is from Honnleath, but he says he grew up near Honnleath. That stuck out to me because of all the OMG did he play around Shale comments.

My daughter spotted this one and she says that's amazing in-game photography (and I think Cullen moved to the top of her list for her 2nd PT.)
I figure he uses Honnleath as a reference because you're more likely (although, really, not likely at all if you're from Ostwick or your clan didn't spend much time in the mountains south of Lake Calenhad) to know generally where that is. In my head canon his parents had a little freehold.

That or the writers wanted to throw in a town we would be familiar with, a little fan service - unless he's mentioned it in the prior games, can't remember. I'm in Chicago and people that live in the burbs always say they are from Chicago I guess to save time, but I'm always like just say "I'm from a suburb of Chicago". It doesn't take that much longer. Because then they meet people who are familiar with Chicago and say "oh what neighborhood?" then the truth comes out eventually.

Yeah, I used his settings he suggested but they do nothing. Thus when enabling the changes the game crashes. Bout to just say F this and just make do with what I can get.

Specifically because he has the dream, she doesn't seem to know how to react, and he tells her he always has them. If they had spent the night together before wouldn't she already know? Unless they had done it and they didn't sleep together afterward. Just a thought. But then I also can't imagine that they didn't get busy after their goth lake at night date.

Are you running DAI Cinematic Tools as administrator? It's never crashed my game before. I'm beginning to think I'm on the lucky side of things since my game almost never crashes.

I think it's easy to read it either way. There's several reasons his nightmares might not have come up previously if that wasn't the first time (remember she was dressing to leave before he woke up and maybe she wasn't normally there when he woke from nightmares. Though I don't think her reaction was out of the ordinary for someone who has a partner who has nightmares either.) I don't think there is a single answer, and I don't think they intended for there to be one. I mostly make an argument that there are things about that scene that suggest maybe it wasn't.
So, at the rate that I am drawing right now, and the way this thread is progressing, I don't think I will be able to finish my portrait of Cullen for page 5000. However, I did manage to finish a short fanfic regarding the lyrium.
Anyone have time to beta it before we hit pg 5000? I'd appreciate any help you could offer

I like to think it's an inside joke because Ellis voices both male characters in the Stone Prisoner DLC. In my headcanon, there's this little corner of Ferelden where every dude sounds suspiciously similar.

Anyway, so I am starting my Hard run finally (human female warrior) and I redid her like 3 times because I didn't think she was pretty enough for Cullen. Anyone else ever do this? I know he wouldn't be shallow (besides the fact the game won't let him) but I just think he deserves a smoking hot Lady.

The annoucer at the ball does announce him as "Cullen Stanton Rutherford of Honnleath."
And the map we had of Honnleath suggested the city went beyond the parts we could walk in. It likely had farms around the city itself, like the map of Awakening had several little farms that were in Amaranthine city proper, but were still part of Amaranthine.
Cool Haven't played it for awhile but makes sense.
I love how ambiguous they are that we can decide & head cannon for ourselves.

Re. the nightmares, I've said this a few times before, but I thought she was pretty nonchalant about them in the bed scene. She immediately asks "bad dreams?" instead of asking what's wrong, and if you pick the middle dialogue option she says "despite the bad dreams, is it still a good morning?" like it's such a common and inevitable part of waking up with him that it's not worth lingering on. She does a little jump at the beginning of the scene, but to me it looks like she was trying not to startle him and then got a little startled herself by his sudden trashing.
On the first time versus not, though... Brienne has said that whether it was their first time or not was left deliberately vague (like many other aspects of their relationship) so everyone could see it as they prefer, so this is probably best left to each person's headcanon. There are reasons to think it wasn't, but some players prefer to think it was and their reasons are good too... I've even seen a compelling argument for an asexual relationship between Cullen and IQ, and the game is vague enough to acommodate even that headcanon, if that's what you wanna see, so. Every interpretation is valid, it's all in how each of us prefers to see things.

I've been lurking forever but I was wondering if there's a Cullen writing group like there is a drawing group.
Why not make one?

I have Fraps & I can tell you it's great. However, it's not free (around 25€?). There are free stuffs too but I don't know them. Lola & R2s adviced me to use Fraps.
One thing: Fraps videos are so space consuming, a 2 minute video was around 2 Gb.
