*SIGH*  Just finished my completionist playthough with my mage Ciara.  Spent a little while walking through Skyhold, admiring my murals...hell, even went down to the room with all my special wines just to look at em all.  Feeling a bit sad (like that feeling after you read a good novel and realize you have nothing to do).  I did get the Cullen "lovely" line, which made it kinda nice.  But really, my favorite last line was Dorian where he called me his best friend.  I love that mage to bits!

 

Now gonna spend some time writing some melancholy crap to get the sad feels outta me!

Oh man I would love to see a Cullen duel!  I was also sort of sad we never got to see him training with the soldiers - maybe shirtless....

I know - I sort of had a mini-depression when I finished my "canon" PT. I can't recapture the magic. I guess that's what fanfic and fan art is for.

Yeah...the game is just too big for me, for a lot of replays.  I've played through 3 full times now (female rogue to try it out, male warrior to romance Cassandra, female mage/completionist to set up my canon for the next game).  Tried to start an elf, but just can't be bothered once I hit the Hinterlands.  If there was more variability in how the small quests played out, like in DAO, it wouldn't feel like such a grind.  Oh well, at least now I have time to write!

Not sure why everyone is so against marriage,  reading all these discussions kinda makes me feel like an idiot that i even got married in rl... some ppl like to get married some don't, that is their personal preference i don't think its right to dismiss ppl that do. Anyway if BW  doesn't feel like making  such a move, there is always mods  so ppl who do want to get married will have that opportunity if they so wish. That is all i have to say on this subject

I play on PC, but haven't modded anything other than eyebrows.  Waiting till folks get stuff down before I go whole hog. Modded-DAO was an absolute dream!!! Extra romance stuff, extra missions, new companions, dog with you all the time, gorgeous hair and armor and weapons, ambient stuff, re-textures.  I actually built my PC so I could play modded DAO (seriously...the guy that helped me build it was like...what the hell?...why don't you play Skyrim?).  Just another sad guy who missed the Dragon Age thing and had no idea how amazing it was!!

Agreed he needs a new roof heck that room needs to be fixed tis a shame skyhold isn't completely fixed prays for additional add ons for it. I kinda wish the upgrades we did had more use than just cosmetic only.

I agree.  I'm all about getting fresh air, but they live in the mountains, surrounded by snow.  I'd just have him move in with the Inquisitor.  That two-storey ladder-climb twice a day is just an accident waiting to happen.

Keep in mind that not all of us are involved in every discussion that occurs on this thread, we may pop in and out so some things may get repeated.  Discussing marriage head canons about Cullen seems enough on topic to me, but maybe I'm wrong.  If there is a list of acceptable topics, I'd love to see it.

LOL Obviously it's on topic. But it's also not a fun discussion so far since it's clearly been rather divisive, and it's about the billionth time we've discussed. So I have no interest personally in talking about it anymore. There's also a point at which the conversation has run its course, and this seems to be it.
 
But I can make you that list if you like.
