My final fight with Envy glitched the first two times I played it (I fought once, tried again to save Barris, then realized I'd made the wrong choice with the Templars, and killed him a 3rd time, lol). It was kind of entertaining, watching all the companions and my IQ move around like chess pieces on a board rather than actually running, etc.

Haha Yep!! I figured it might be class specific! I can't really see your typical mage doing something like that. (Although some would, of course.) 

 

Oh and now... the game did actually crash. Just as the cut scene was playing and Cole appeared. Bah.

Ack - so I recently started up a new game, and I didn't select the first Cullen flirt about the speech - I just think that smile is really creepy that the IQ gives him, and I've never heard any of his other responses so I thought I'd try something different. I just tried to talk to him about Templar life and I didn't get the flirt about taking vows. Am I locked out of his romance? *sweats*

I remember laughing so hard at that smile. It seems like in every game the PC has to make at least one completely ridiculous expression.

I dunno, it seems very dwarf-ish to me, but I suppose a rogue wouldn't be considered physical enough. Blast it, I was planning to go pro-mage with Zhenya, but conscript them, and my Dalish warrior went pro-mage.

No. Although I did get some of the story from PMs, so I could start from that and just rebuild what I lost. It will be interesting to compare what I have now to what I had back when my PC went crazy. It isn't a major showdown...well, I suppose that depends on your opinion on what a "major showdown" is. It is extremely intense though!

Ummm, definitely not. I don't even think there's any romance specific dialogue from Envy's illusions.

No. Although I was able to get some of what I did from PMs and stuff like that. As for the showdown, well, it is extremely tense and what not...but I don't know what you would call a Cullen/Quizzy showdown.

Aliss is very much in favor of the Circles; being a dwarf, she doesn't trust mages or "The Fade"; it's all dangerous nonsense as far as she's concerned. Used to be a way to make profit (lyrium), and now it's doing the whole world in. Total bullsh!t if you ask her. 

 

Though I admit my heart breaks every time I see "Solas disapproves" in the corner of the screen >.>

 

So anywho... midway through Champions of the Just I was wondering where Ser Barris had run off to. I had a feeling he was supposed to be following me since a couple other random templar mooks were. Doubled back and searched all over the courtyard until I found him...

Aliss: Come on, Barris, we have to find the Lord Seeker.

Barris: NO! I'm... I'm scared. I'd rather hide behind this door here.

 

Okay, well, you're cute so we'll forgive you (He started following again after I found him lol)

AWW, he pulled a Cullen! Or at the very least a young templar Cullen who ran and nearly wet himself when Amell suggested with a little bit of force and seduction that they should "go somewhere and get to know each other better" 

 

As for the Solas disapproval, at this rate you will be able to punch him...which killed me when I saw the videos of it and then saw Lady Insanity do it in her Ass!Quisitor PT. The Dorian punch scene is even worse though...

I think so, but not sure on that one. There was someone here in the thread testing how far along the vows flirt would hold (to see if it could still be taken after them sexy times), and I think the conclusion was that they had the flirt available right up until completing either Abyss or Wicked and triggering the sex scene (past which, of course, the question finally disappeared ).

 

 

I think so but someone correct me if not - then he says something like "obviously not".

 

 

*waves hand* I have tested this. Basically, you can keep the vow flirt till before sexy time, which means before the completion of both Abyss and Wicked eyes. The flirt option will disappear after sexy time (which is totally fine and logical). But his responses on the flirt are the same no matter if you are in a relationship with him or not/how far the romance progressed.

So on another forum we were talking about coming up with idea's on how Cullen got his scar and some of writing stories were trying to think of good ones for them. Most everyone had battle stories, but I thought it should be something goofy that he would share with his lady love and no one else know the truth. Anyway, what about all of you?

 

Here is mine where he is sharing with my Warrior Vespera.

 

She lightly traced his face and then his scar.

“How did you get this scar? Was it in battle?”

He was having a hard time breathing while she traced the lines of his face, almost like she was trying to memorize them. He swallowed hard.

“I wish it was something of a battle scar” he chuckled “but it is far more embarrassing. It was a year after the battle in Kirkwall. We were trying to pull the city back together. I was promoted to Knight-Commander and I wasn’t sleeping well. So many nights I would strip next to the bed and fall face first on the bed and be out cold.” He noticed she blushed when he said he would strip and smiled “So I hear this noise I thought was a fight and jumped out of bed and proceed to trip over my armor. Next thing I know I do a nose dive and hit the tip of my sword sitting on the table. I am probably lucky I didn’t blind myself.”

She laughed a deep laugh and asked about the fight.

“Well I grab a towel for my face and rush out the door. The fight I heard was actually to young recruits playing around and one tripped and fell against the wall. Not exactly my finest hour”
