In the story she was abused a lot as a child/young adult and has a hard time opening up to be around anyone and trust any man. So they share a moment finally where he is holding her and she is playing with his scar. He tells her to try to get her to relax and all. So in that setting, I can see him telling her and also no one else can hear about it,lol.

I have another one I am working on too that was another strange story for it. I cannon that it all my love stories he has different strange tales about it that he only ever confesses to his lady love. Just my weird thing I guess,lol

I know I have work to do but instead I finished up on story and posted it and now I am trying to draw Cullen as my daughter plays the game. Bleh what can I say, wasting time doing this is soooo much better than work.

 

I have also been reading Alistair fanfic too, I wanna write one for him so bad, but can't seem to capture how he talks. I seem to have an easier time with DA:I characters...Maybe I should work on one when Alistair is at Skyhold....

 

I need ideas!

 

I did write my first ever total smut fic...not sure I am really good at it, I can do love stuff to an extent but full out wild sex, yeah...needs work.

I was having trouble coming up with something, but now I have an idea... maybe a slight AU where they don't start their relationship until after the events of the game.

One thing I can't remember... does the mark disappear post-game?

Do you mean in a male IQ who romances Cass scenario?  I think Cullen becoming her right hand if he's with a female IQ works too - although they'd be apart more than they'd like if she remains Inquisitor.  I could see a situation where she steps down and gives the position to Leliana or Dorian, then goes with Cullen and Cass to Val Royeaux, maybe as the Left Hand or in some other capacity.

Oh gotcha.  I was thinking about potential post-game content, like in the sequel or DLC you find out if Cass was made divine that Cullen went with her.

That would be cool but I have a feeling who becomes Divine won't matter much in future releases (DLC included) because they try to avoid "major decisions" from previous games, or at least not focus on them much, because it's just too many differences to try and take into account.

 

So any DLC will probably be the status quo, with Vivienne and Cass still in our party, regardless of who's Divine.

No, it's whatever that theme means to you. It can be about memories. It can be before, during or after the game. It can be a retrospective on the fandom. It can be your best memory of the game, Cullen, the lead up to the game, in the game itself. Whatever, so long as it's Culleny.

And, as usual, it also doesn't have to conform the theme at all.

So I am still so clueless on how to use AO3 tags. I mean am I seriously the ONLY person writing male inquisitor x Cullen?? Let alone male Lavellan x Cullen. Or are the tags simply impossible to figure out?! It's just that when I go to my listing of stories (which at present includes only two stories, both Lavellan x Cullen), to the right I can "Sort and Filter." I click relationships and get the expected female inquisitor x Cullen stuff, and also surprisingly some stuff like Iron Bull x Cullen, but no male inquisitor x Cullen. 

 

This website is just so annoying sometimes!! How is a writer of an obscure pairing supposed to get noticed?

Publish on FF.net as well? There you just have a drop-down list for the characters you like - so any pairing is possible.

Male Lavellan / Cullen Rutherford is definitely a tag on AO3. I've never written fanfiction, though, so I have no idea how tags are specified there in terms of actual posting mechanics.
