Is anyone against me bringing forth more treasures from the previous page celebrations? I don't want to just spam the thread, but it'd be nice to bring some of the old into the new, ya know?

The main reason Arishok was a rogue were the game's mechanics. Warriors could not be dualists anymore. As Mary Kirby said, qunari do not train to become thieves or rogues. Scouts - yeah. Talliss is kind of an exception, but she is a convert elf

 

That's kind of my point, though - there are often reasons besides just a character's aesthetic behind their class depiction.

Not to nitpick, but you realize the Arishok from DA2 was a rogue, right? He fits the warrior aesthetic, but they wanted him to dual-wield so he's classed as rogue.

 

GW is probably a warrior, but I don't think the main evidence is his physical appearance.

Yes he is, seems crazy though :]  Unfortunately he is not a companion...

@Jynxed -LMAO I thought you were talking about the owl eating the chick!! We in the Cullen thread are very open minded about all loves and sexual preferences but taking your pants off to owls eating chicks? NEIN!

@Chanda - I knew you were still on for team positive! I don't know if tonight is the first you heard about Cullen but do you want to go into squee/freak out mode? I know most of us got it out of our system but don't let that hold you back! If you need a buddy I'm sure most of us will freak out again with you! (Eric will the most though -that dude is on some kinda perpetually happy serum )

Poor Sigrun! I didn't realize she was a rogue for a good half of the game so I gave her ridiculous warrior stuff to wear. 

haha, poor Sigrun indeed. I figured it out pretty quickly and even tried some light armor on her (I'm so sorry, forgive me Sigrun), but just couldn't stand her look. So she was carrying her original setup.

I actually didn't figure it out till I was reading the wiki to see what quests I was missing and saw one called something like "Sigrun's Roguish Past." (Which was bugged and didn't trigger anyway.) Ooops!

I saw she was duel-wielding a figured she might be a rogue, so I checked her talents and, oh hey! Lockpicking!  Of course, since I mostly play rogue, she spends lots of time with her books.

Well, Arishok was a NPC so the player wouldn't even know. GW may be a companion, so, yeah.
The main reason why likes of Duncan and Sigrun make a bad example is because back then in DAO and DAA warriors and rogues had pretty much no difference except lock picking and bow-wielding

Sh!t happens. I also try all different scenarios for science (and I like to figure out characters that would make less popular decisions). Some of them are hard though :/
